Is There Multiplayer in Luigi's Mansion 2?
Luigi's Mansion 3 allowed gamers to play through the game with a friend thanks to the introduction of Gooigi and co-op mode, so some players were hoping that the goo-version of Luigi would return in this remake.
Unfortunately, that is not the case in Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, so gamers won't be able to play the main campaign with a friend. However, there is a multiplayer mode in Luigi's Mansion 2 called ScareScraper.
How to Unlock ScareScraper Mode in Luigi's Mansion 2
Players can't try out the ScareScraper mode as soon as they start Luigi's Mansion 2. Even though they'll receive the Poltergust 5000 right before the first mission, they'll need to progress a bit farther in order to gain access to the game's multiplayer mode.
To unlock the ScareScraper in Luigi's Mansion 2, gamers have to acquire the Strobulb in the Foyer and the Dark-Light Device in the Lab; these are the two Poltergust 5000 modifications required to gain access to the ScareScraper. This means that players will be able to play ScareScraper mode once they complete A-4: Visual Tricks in Gloomy Manor.
How to Play ScareScraper
To play multiplayer in Luigi's Mansion 2, fans have to select the ScareScraper game mode, which is located on the right of the Dark Moon Quest. Then, they must choose whether they want Local or Online Play. Online, gamers can play Luigi's Mansion online with fans from all over the world or select players from their Nintendo Switch friends list.
