Lords of the Fallen is living up to its reputation of being one of the hardest games of the year. The latest title from HEXWORKS has a multitude of bosses, both main and mini, capable of bringing the progress of players to a screeching halt. For most of their journey, Lords of the Fallen players will be traversing through Axiom, but at times, they will have to switch to Umbral.

Both places are filled with monsters waiting to bring players down. Since it is a soulslike game, players will indubitably die many times. This could be problematic when they have covered great distances and obtained a lot of Vigor. Upon dying, players will be warped back to the last Vestige point. However, there is an item called Vestige Seed that will allow players to save their progress.

How To Get Vestige Seeds

Vestige Seeds can be obtained through different means in Lords of the Fallen. The best method is to reach Skyrest and go into Molhu's room. To reach him, players have to take a left from the Vestige point toward Pieta. Look behind; there will be an empty room. Enter it and use the Umbral Lamp to reveal Molhu in the middle of the room. After exhausting dialogue with him, players will be given the option to Purchase.

Open the inventory and scroll down to find the Vestige Seeds. He sells each seed for 2,500 Vigor, which is rather expensive. Some enemies may also drop Vestige Seeds, as there is usually an opportunity to plant them close by.

Players can carry multiple Vestige Seeds with them at any time, but only one of them will be active; the previous ones will be removed. Despite the limitations, the importance of Vestige Seeds cannot be overstated.

They can only be planted on Umbral flowerbeds, which can be found in many places throughout the game. If players are in Axiom and are near a flowerbed, the Umbral Lamp icon in the bottom right corner will start blinking. This is an indication that there is a flowerbed nearby. Players can plant a Vestige Seed by holding the L2/LT button, followed by the Triangle/Y button on their controllers. Once the Vestige Seed has been planted, players can rest, warp to another Vestige point, or upgrade their character.

Lords of the Fallen is now available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
