Lost Judgment's sixth chapter, Converging Heat, picks up right where the previous one left off, with Tak and the Genda Law team reviewing the evidence surrounding Ehara's crimes. Much of the chapter is actually spent killing time with a mandatory side case, though players do also get an opportunity to control somebody other than Tak for a short while.

When it comes to content, Converging Heat is one of the shortest chapters in Lost Judgment, but it does do an excellent job of building the suspense for the one which follows. With that in mind, players should probably set a few hours aside before tackling it, as Chapter 7 is best enjoyed immediately after its predecessor.

Searching for the Truth

Chapter 6 begins with Tak and the Genda Law team going over the case. Once the briefing ends, players should head back over to the Yagami Detective Agency and rest on the couch. In the morning, they'll need to take a taxi back over to Yokohama and then make their way to Seiryo High.

A few more side cases are available at this time, including "Squirrels Just Wanna Have Fun." It's worth getting started on this one right away as there are 56 squirrels to find across both Ijincho and Kamurocho. After finding the first of them, players should head on up to the Faculty Room and start a conversation with Sawa.

Though she's able to confirm some of Tak's hunches, she still seems to be holding something back. As she's already late for a meeting though, players will have to wait a little longer to find out exactly what that is. For now, they should leave the school. This will trigger a phone call from Saori, who reveals that the man that RK was looking for bullied Sawa's former classmate.

Saori's Investigation

At this point, players take control of Saori and are tasked with finding out more about Shinya Kawai. They'll need to head over to Bar Tender and speak with Mari and Jo, after which they'll be able to give Saori a makeover. They'll then need to walk down Senryu Avenue to attract some RK members, which really doesn't take too long.

After Kaneda approaches, players should pick either of the options that mention RK and then any of the three options once they begin to suspect her. Thankfully, Higashi, an old friend, shows up and takes out the thugs just in the nick of time, and, following a short cutscene, Saori calls Tak. He doesn't answer though, and players return to his perspective from earlier in the day.

How to Complete the 'Curse of the Amasawa Family Heirloom' Side Case

With more time to kill until Sawa's meeting comes to an end, players should head back inside the school and visit Amasawa at the MRC club room. There, they'll learn about a lucky cat statue that is supposedly anything but and the "Curse of the Amasawa Family Heirloom" side case will begin.

After hearing what Shimada has to say, players should head over to Plage and speak with the boy's father, Mikio. He mentions that the statue was purchased from Ebisu Pawn, which is where players should be heading next. Shortly after Tak and Amisawa arrive at the pawnshop, a fire will break out which triggers another Active Search.

There are two things that need to be investigated here, the first of which is a gasoline mark on the floor outside the shop. If players follow the sidewalk to the left for a while, they'll also come across a plastic bottle that contained gasoline, leading to Tak concluding that somebody must be watching them.

In order to lure this person out, players will first need to play a round of darts with Amasawa and then visit the Mirai batting center up in the northwestern corner of the map. After hitting a few balls, Amasawa will notice a suspicious man across the street and Tak will decide that now is the time to apprehend him. To do this, players should exit the batting center through the rear door and then put on one of Tak's disguises.

Players will now be able to get close to the man, who needs to be beaten in a fight before he can be interrogated. When examining the statue a moment later, they should look at its jiggly eye and the gap near the cat's neck to reveal its secret. After exhausting all of the available dialogue options that follow, the case will be closed and players will receive a prompt to return to the Faculty Room at Seiryo High.

How to Find Sawa's Address

Unfortunately, upon his arrival back at the school, Tak will learn that Sawa left the meeting early after receiving a call about her apartment being broken into. Worse still. she is no longer answering her phone. Her female colleague refuses to hand out Sawa's Address, so players should head to the chairman's office up on the third floor.

Once they have spoken with Chairman Okuda and obtaining the address, players will need to make their way over to Sawa's apartment on Daikokuten Avenue. Tak will head upstairs when he arrives, where he'll run into Kuwana. Before players or Tak can find out why the handyman is there though, a cutscene will reveal that it's all a trap and the chapter will come to an end.
