Bosses in Lords of the Fallen offer so much more than just a generous helping of Vigor and a few consumables when defeated. Players can get the signature equipment and spells of these powerful enemies for themselves as well, but this involves some extra steps that are very easy to overlook.

Lords of the Fallen: How to Parry

Parrying is the key to opening up enemies for powerful counters in Lords of the Fallen. Here are some tips on how to do it.

Boss weapons, armor, and magic offer some of the strongest offensive and defensive tools available in Lords of the Fallen. However, it's not enough to simply beat a boss in order to grab their gear. Players must first get the hidden Bowl of Revelations, which is to be given to a certain Skyrest Bridge NPC that's invisible to the naked eye.

Lords of the Fallen: Where to Find the Bowl of Revelations

Before players start getting boss weapons, they must first learn the Bowl of Revelations' location and bring it back home with them. This special item unlocks the ability to turn Umbral Scourings into powerful gear and magic spells.

The Bowl of Revelations is found in the Umbral side of the Pilgrim's Perch region. To get it, players must progress all the way through to the Vestige of Blind Agatha. Go to the tunnels on the right to reach the cliffside again, then follow the main path. Once players reach the long ladder leading below, transition to the Umbral and prepare for a big fight.

On the Umbral platform floating above the chasm, there is an Umbral Belly that contains the Bowl of Revelations. However, this is guarded by a swarm of Umbral creatures that will make grabbing the item difficult. Deal with the creatures, Soulflay the Umbral Belly, then pick up the Bowl of Revelations. Take this back to Skyrest Bridge for the next part of the process.

Lords of the Fallen: Where to Buy Boss Weapons

Molhu, a hidden vendor in Lords of the Fallen

Boss gear in Lords of the Fallen need to be purchased from Molhu, a friendly Umbral creature residing in the Umbral side of Skyrest Bridge. Transition into the realm of death and go up the stairs near Pieta to find him.

Give the Bowl of Revelations to Molhu to unlock the Offer Remembrance options, which is basically the boss weapon vendor menu. Here, players will find the signature gear or iconic spells of the major bosses they beat in the game.

Take note that simply beating a boss won't give players their Remembrance. To get these, players need to Soulflay the memories that appear after a fight is done. These will always be in their respective boss arenas, which means players are free to revisit them if needed.

Purchasing boss gear in Lords of the Fallen

To purchase boss gear, players need to spend Umbral Scourings, a special currency that drop from only two sources: memories and reapers. Soulflay any memories found in the open (use the Umbral Lamp on swarms of blue butterflies while in Axiom) to gain two Umbral Scourings.

Red-tinged reapers begin appearing in the Umbral realm when players spend too much time in it. These enemies are extremely durable, but they drop five Umbral Scourings along with thousands of Vigor when defeated. To beat these guys easily, simply Soulflay them into a ledge.

Lords of the Fallen is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
