Lords of the Fallen is the latest addition to the long list of soulslike games. It has been in work for a long time, and suffice to say, it has been off to a good start. Players get a lot of options to pick from when they start their game. There are different classes, which include both normal and hidden.

Choosing a certain class can make their experience either easier or tougher. Not long after starting their adventure, Lords of the Fallen players have to face various monsters as a test of their skills. These monsters can chip away at the health of players and cause them to die and lose their precious Vigor.

How To Heal

Lords of Fallen players will need to use an item called the Sanguinatrix to heal. This item can be found in the quick-access pocket in the bottom left corner of the screen. Players can access the Sanguinatrix by scrolling through the menu with the Left or Right button on the D-Pad. After the Sanguinatrix has been selected, press the Square Button on the PlayStation or the X Button on the Xbox to heal and recover lost health.

At the start of the game, players will have only three Sanguinatrix, which is a decent amount to start the game with.

But they need to remember that the game does not restart after they die. Instead, players are sent to Umbral, another dimension that is filled with all kinds of horrors.

In Umbral, players will have to be extremely quick to find their path out, as spending too much time in the dimension will cause bigger and stronger opponents to chase them. In order to get out of the Umbral, players will have to find a Vestige Rest Point, Emergency Effigy, and Vestige Seedlings.

Emergency Effigies are scattered all over Umbral. If players are close to exceeding the normal time, they must remember where they spotted the Emergency Effigy to get out.

Vestige Rest Points can also be used to get out of Umbral. Players will do well to make a note of the last Vestige Rest Point and head to the location to go back to the regular world.

Finally, Vestige Seedlings can be sown at certain spots to create a Vestige Rest Point. They can only be planted at certain places in Umbral, which are known as Umbral Flower Beds. Getting these Seedlings is no easy task, but if players stumble upon them, they can use them to great effect.

Lords of the Fallen is now available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
