Lords Of The Fallen: Hardest Bosses, Ranked
The are over 30 different bosses to find and overcome in Lords of the Fallen, and some of them are a lot more difficult than their peers are.
There are a variety of Spells in the game each unique in its own way that provides a buff or heals oneself as well as allies. Others are incantations, which deal damage to enemies nearby and the surrounding area. The vast amount of Infernal Spells allows the players to trail and test each spell to see what fits their playstyle. These are some of the best Infernal Spells in the game.
8 Rising Fire
Raise Orbs Of Fire To Explode All Around You
Infernal Level | Mana Cost |
---|---|
22 | 40 |
Rising Fire is one of the recent Spells added to the game with the latest patch. Once cast, the Spell causes multiple orbs of fire to rise from the ground and explode after a while, dealing damage as well as inflicting Burn buildup. This Spell allows the player to deal with multiple enemies at the same time by luring them into a single spot and then blasting them with multiple orbs, dealing massive fire damage.
Where To Acquire Spell
Rising Fire, unlike other spells, can only be dropped from the enemy version of Infernal Enchantress. This enemy type is located in Lower Calrath and Upper Calrath, as well as Bramis Castle.
7 Infernal Hounds
Summon Rhogar Hounds To Aid You In Battle
Infernal Level | Mana Cost |
---|---|
30 | 110 |
This Spell allows the caster to summon three Infernal Hounds for a short amount of time. These hounds breathe fire in a triangular area dealing fire damage to anything caught in their path. This spell can be extremely useful in splitting aggro even for a small amount of time. However, it has a major drawback where any mobile boss will be able to avoid most of the damage by dodging away.
Where To Acquire Spell
This Spell can be purchased from the Tortured Prisoner for 8,000 Vigor during her questline when she is present in the boss arena of Spurned Progeny.
6 Infernal Weapon
Covers Weapon In Fire To Burn Enemies To A Crisp
Infernal Level | Mana Cost |
---|---|
18 | 60 |
Casting this Spell allows the player to drive their weapon into the ground and take it out imbued with fire. This is one of the most useful spells as it has quite a long duration and allows the player's weapon to deal fire damage to any enemy they attack. Casting this before a boss fight can increase the overall damage the weapon will do, thus shortening the time before the boss goes down.
Where To Acquire Spell
This Spell is located at the Vestige of Betrayed Eliard. From the Ruiner Boss fight on the bridge go into the Umbral to spot an Entity blocking a path on the bridge. Open the way by Soulflaying the corpse then proceed across the multiple platforms to reach a ladder. Go up the ladder and keep following the path ahead to reach the Vestige. Simply go behind the Shrine of Adyr to find the Spell on the ground.

Lords of The Fallen: 10 Best Armor Sets, Ranked
These are some of the best armor sets players should prioritize in Lords of the Fallen.
5 Infernal Orb
Hurl Orbs Of Fire From A Range At Those Pesky Caster Enemies
Infernal Level | Mana Cost |
---|---|
8 | 13 |
Inferno Orb, as the name suggests, is an orb of fire that the player can hurl at the enemies once they cast it. The Spell explodes on impact with an enemy dealing damage to enemies around as well. This is one of the low Mana cost Spells, allowing the player to spam this constantly. Infernal Orb becomes a key tool to deal damage to enemies that are far out of reach.
Where To Acquire Spell
This Spell can be purchased from the Tortured Prisoner for 500 Vigor during her questline when she is standing outside the boss arena of Pietaafter the player has freed her from the prison cell.
4 Magma Surge
Raises A Pillar of Fire Engulfing Everything In Flames
Infernal Level | Mana Cost |
---|---|
30 | 66 |
Casting Magma Surge causes an explosive pillar of fire to spawn and deal damage to the enemies in the vicinity. After the surge of fire disappears a pool of lava is left behind that can deal with any leftover enemies still chasing the player. This Spell is good for ranged enemies as well as enemies that are not quick to dodge out of the way. Against more aggressive enemies, casting it at one's feet can be a good tactic, as once the enemy closes in they can take in a lot of damage.
Where To Acquire Spell
Give the Remembrance of a Spurned Progeny to Molhu after defeating it and buy the Spell for 10 Umbral Scouring.
3 Severing Blades
Watch As Blades Of Fire Go Forth Leaving Nothing But Ash
Infernal Level | Mana Cost |
---|---|
35 | 46 |
Severing Blades allows the player to send forth blades of fire that hit enemies in a horizontal area. This Spell has a relatively short cast time, allowing the player to follow it up with other spells such as Infernal Orb. This is quite useful in PvP because of how quick it is to cast it. Hitting even one can deal decent damage to the enemy player, leaving them vulnerable to a follow-up melee attack or Spell.
Where To Acquire Spell
Give the Remembrance of the Lightreaper to Molhu after defeating it and buy the Spell for 10 Umbral Scouring.

2 Cataclysm
Rain Down Fire From The Skies!
Infernal Level | Mana Cost |
---|---|
30 | 99 |
Cataclysm is one of the most damaging spells in the game, which makes it vital in every Inferno build. Casting it allows the player to spawn multiple meteors to fall from the sky and hit the ground. The Spell deals high damage to all enemies inside of a vast area making it useful in clearing multiple mobs of enemies to keep them at bay. The only drawback is that there is a chance that not all meteors will hit so the player has to position the Spell just right.
Where To Acquire Spell
This Spell can be purchased from the Tortured Prisoner for 8,000 Vigor during her questline when she is present in the boss arena of Spurned Progeny.
1 Seismic Slam
Knock Your Foes Away With A Single Slam Of A Hammer
Infernal Level | Mana Cost |
---|---|
25 | 66 |
Unarguably the best Spell in the game by a landslide. Seismic Slam is the most useful Spell in the early game as well as the late game as it deals a ton of damage and can deal with multiple enemies as well. Casting it causes the player to jump up and conjure a Fire Hammer that they slam down into the ground with full force. Players can simply roll backward and cast this, taking out all enemies in its path and avoiding any fatal damage.
Where To Acquire Spell
This Spell can be purchased from the Tortured Prisoner for 3,500 Vigor during her questline when she is standing outside the boss arena of Pieta after the player gives her the Giant Eyeball.
