Players can make a variety of characters that each fit different themes in Lords of the Fallen. Naturally, this includes the fast and nimble types that excel at hit-and-run tactics enabled by high Agility scores.

Lords of the Fallen: Magic Schools Explained
There are three schools of magic for players to make use of in Lords of the Fallen; here is how each of them works.
Building into Agility means committing to using light weapons that are capable of inflicting status effects more quickly than the other options in the Lords of the Fallen arsenal. The following guide shows how to make an Agility build very early into the game using weapons that scale tremendously well in the middle stages of the campaign, as well as some end-game alternatives.
Lords of the Fallen Bleed Agility Build
This build uses the Exiled Stalker starting class for its high base Agility. It requires very little investment to come online, yet it can shred early-game bosses to bits with compounding Bleed and Poison effects. The gear and stats on a Level 37 character using this build would look like the following:
Attributes | |
Stats | Points |
STR | 10 |
AGI | 25 |
END | 11 |
VIT | 20 |
RAD | 12 |
INF | 12 |

Hallowed Praise and Hallowed Condemnation can be acquired very early in the game (Pilgrim's Perch and Abandoned Redcopse, respectively), and they are both capable of building up Bleed very quickly, especially when wielded together. In Lords of the Fallen, Bleeding does not deal damage over time. Instead, it deals a burst of physical damage when fully built up while simultaneously making targets more vulnerable to Physical damage.
Bleed goes hand-in-hand with Poison thanks to the Bloodbane Ring, which can be acquired in the Forsaken Fen. This enhances the two Hallowed swords' Bleed infliction whenever Poison Weapon is active. Damage is further improved with the Pendant of Burden, an amulet that can also be found by exploring the Umbral side of the Forsaken Fen.
When both Poison and Bleeding proc, targets will start taking increased damage from regular sword hits while also taking DoT ticks. This is a lethal combo that can burn through enemy health bars surprisingly quickly. The video above shows Level 0 Hallowed Praise and Rusty Cutter with Poison Salts versus Gentle Gaverus, a boss that is normally resistant to physical slashing/piercing attacks.
This build won't deal as much damage-per-hit as the Dark Crusader Paladin one, but overall, DPS will be more or less the same as long as players can keep hitting their targets. A good chunk of the damage here comes from status effect procs, which means players need to be very aggressive in order to trigger them.
Ideally, players should aim for at least 25 Agility as soon as possible to increase the upfront damage that both Hallowed swords deal. From this point on, players can choose to either invest more points into Agility and maintain the Bleed/Poison setup or try other elemental builds using Wither, Smite, and Burning by investing in Radiance and Inferno.
Here are some more recommended weapons based on damage/status effect type:
- Bloodlust - Physical/Fire damage; Burn/Bleed ailments
- Right-hand Bringer of Stillness Sword - Physical/Wither damage
- Left-hand Bringer of Stillness Sword - Physical damage; Frostbite ailment
- Bloodletter Fists - Physical/Holy damage; Bleed ailment
- Neophyte Daggers - Physical/Wither damage
Players who don't want to use magic can rely on throwing weapons instead. Lacerating Knife, Bloody Hatcher, and Poisoned Javelin are all great ranged options for this build.
Lords of the Fallen is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
