Loki made plenty of waves when it premiered last year on Disney Plus. Not only did it quickly win over audiences with its clever writing and charming cast of characters, but it also set events in motion that almost single-handedly determined the current course of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. That's not to mention the plethora of other reasons to enjoy the show.

One such slightly obscure aspect of Loki, aside from the absolutely adorable Alligator Loki who deserves every bit of love in the world, is the mascot of the Time Variance Authority (TVA), Miss Minutes. This computer-generated holographic clock lady may have hit audiences with a bit of tonal whiplash upon her first appearance. However, as the series went on, it turned out that she was much more than a simple cartoon tour guide. She was actually created by He Who Remains, the secret mastermind behind all efforts to suppress the multiverse from branching into existence.

So it should come as little surprise to many that Miss Minutes would probably return for the upcoming Loki season 2. However, just in case anyone was unsure, the character's voice actress has confirmed it herself. Tara Strong, voice of Miss Minutes and one of the most prolific voice-over artists in the business, recently revealed to Popverse that the character is definitely coming back for season 2. However, it looks like things might not be as far along as some people might hope.

Loki Miss Minutes

During the interview regarding Strong's appearance as Harley Quinn in the new Warner Bros. fighting game MultiVersus, the subject inevitably shifted to Loki and whether she could tell fans anything about what to expect going forward. "I haven't yet," Strong said when asked whether she'd begun recording for Miss Minutes in season 2, "but a spoiler – she's in it! I know that." She also went on to reminisce about the surprising moment from Miss Minutes in the season finale that clued viewers into the fact that she was more than just a mascot, saying, "that was the best jump-scare ever."

There's a lot to look forward to with season 2 of Loki. After Jonathan Majors' He Who Remains (better known now as one version of Kang the Conqueror) was killed by Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), the previously well-maintained timeline fell into disarray and the multiverse was allowed to flourish. Now, Loki himself (Tom Hiddleston) has found himself in a new universe where his old friends apparently don't remember him and another version of Kang is in control of the TVA.

Between that and the new storylines from other Marvel Studios movies and shows that branched out from Loki season 1's finale, audiences are in for plenty of excitement going forward. At least now, one thing is for certain: the adorably scary clock lady is back. However, what role will she play now that her creator is no longer in the picture? Or, perhaps more accurately, will she even be the same Miss Minutes that audiences knew?

Loki season 2 is set to debut on Disney Plus in the summer of 2023.
