Loki fans have been waiting for God of Mischief's return since Marvel Studios confirmed a second season of the series. There’s finally some good news for fans. Loki season 2 will premiere on Disney Plus on October 6. And that’s not all. Immediately after the season finale airs, Echo will launch.

The first season of Loki was well-received by audiences. Many fans and critics refer to the Tom Hiddleston series as the best Marvel Studios series thus far. It has a 92% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which makes it the second-highest-rated MCU series on Disney Plus, with Ms. Marvel in the lead. The Loki season finale introduced a villain known as He Who Remains, or Kang the Conqueror, and fans expect the second season to reveal a possible showdown between Loki and the several Variants of the supervillain.

News of the Loki season 2 premiere date was shared on the social media pages of Marvel Studios. An image of the Loki logo was posted, along with the confirmation that “a new season of #Loki starts streaming October 6, 2023.” The second season of Loki will feature six episodes that will be a part of Phase 5 of the MCU. Along with the news about the God of Mischief, the studio posted a second image of the Echo logo, announcing that “all episodes of #Echo drop November 29, 2023.” It’ll be the first Marvel Studios series to release all episodes at launch instead of the typical weekly-release format.

Loki season 2 will pick up after the first season, which ended with Sylvie setting off a Multiversal war. Loki was last seen trapped in a dimension where a dangerous Variant of Kang was in power, and his friend Mobius failed to recognize him. The post-credit scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania already revealed the multiple Variants of the villain, but it remains to be seen whether Loki will face any of them in the series.

On the other hand, Echo will continue the story of Alaqua Cox's Maya Lopez, who was first introduced in Hawkeye as the deaf assassin. The series cast includes Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk and Charlie Cox's Daredevil. Fisk also appeared in Hawkeye, whereas Cox's Daredevil is featured in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Fans have been waiting for the two characters to collide, and Echo might be their chance to see the showdown come to fruition.

Loki Season 2 premieres on Disney Plus on October 6, 2023, and Echo premieres on November 29, 2023.
