One of the most bombastic minigames added to the Like a Dragon (formerly Yakuza) series in recent memory is surely Crazy Delivery. When Ichiban and co go looking around Honolulu for ways to make money at Aloha Beach in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, they come across a man who looks suspiciously like Axel from the legendary arcade and Dreamcast game Crazy Taxi.

Talk to Charlie underneath a giant tree at Aloha Beach to begin Crazy Delivery, a minigame where players have three minutes to make as much money as they can by delivering food to hungry customers all over Honolulu. By completing deliveries, Kasuga earns points, which can be exchanged for prizes or cold hard cash. This guide goes over some of the best tips you can use to get better at Crazy Delivery and make it much easier to get a Super Crazy S-Rank.

Always Perform Three Tricks Before A Delivery

Arguably, the most important thing one can do to guarantee S-rank in Crazy Delivery minigame is to increase the Delivery reward multiplier by performing tricks. Customers will pay more for an exciting delivery, and the easiest way to do this is to perform three tricks before Delivering a request.

Though flipping forward and backward are options, it's much safer to just flip sideways. Press the trick input (B for Xbox, circle for PlayStation) and flick the left analog stick left or right to see Ichiban do a spin in mid-air. Forward and backward flips can end with Ichiban not landing correctly and losing a chunk of collected Food, so just stick with side flips to stay upright.

Crazy Delivery pros can land on their back wheel to perform a Wheelie, which earns some more points, or chain two Tricks into a Power Slide when Delivering, which itself counts as a Trick.

Look At Your Minimap To See Where To Go Next

Aside from constantly pulling tricks to maximize your Crazy Delivery tips, the next best thing a player can do is to constantly reference the minimap. Especially after dropping off a Delivery, look at the Minimap for just a moment to see which way Ichiban is going, and where the most Delivery Requests are located.

Delivery Requests are highlighted with various dialogue boxes across the map of Honolulu, but if you aren't looking at the minimap, it's hard to tell which direction holds the most Requests. Additionally, the minimap will display uncollected Consumables, like boosts, backpacks, and others.

Just keep an eye on the minimap after dropping off a Delivery to figure out which way is the most efficient way to go. Nothing is worse than doing a bunch of Deliveries and realizing you're half the map away from the closest one.

Avoid Doubling Back To Save Time – But...

In conjunction with looking at the minimap, it's not a bad idea to plan out a route ahead of time to maximize your time in Crazy Delivery. There are three major horizontal roads (north, center, and south) in the Crazy Delivery maps, and three major vertical ones (west, center, and east) that create a kind of grid which the game takes place on.

From the starting position, try your best to follow the trail of Food that leads from customer to customer. This should naturally allow you to complete each street one at a time without doubling back. However, there is another strategy that works on the same principle, but requires that players leave everything in the center row un-complete.

Go along the south, west, north, then east roads – collecting food and power-ups along the way – and use them before you turn right to finish the central row. Some of these power-ups will guarantee the highest possible Delivery reward for each customer, so it can be extra-profitable to wait to finish all the Deliveries until you get some boosts.

Pick Up Boosts – And Don't Forget To Use Them

There are a few consumables that players can use in Crazy Delivery to increase their rewards, protect themselves from harm, and otherwise do the minigame more efficiently. The Backpack will temporarily prevent Ichiban from dropping collected Food if he gets hit by a car or falls off his bike. The Energy Drink will give Ichiban a single Boost to use, and the Golden Ticket increases the maximum Delivery bonus by 1.5x.

You can also build up Boost by performing Tricks. The Boost meter is shown at the bottom of the screen during Crazy Delivery, and when one of the three purple slots is filled, you can press X (or Square on PlayStation) to surge forwards. While boosting (whether from the Energy Drink or naturally), you automatically attract all Food and items nearby, knock Cars off the road, and will get the maximum reward for all Deliveries. It doesn't last long, so save this for the long horizontal roads when you can make the most of it.

Do Tricks Near Cars To Flip Them Away

The best way to prevent Ichiban from being knocked off his bike (aside from avoiding frontflips and backflips) is to perform Tricks into Cars. Cars can knock Ichiban off his bike if they hit him, but if he's in the middle of a Trick, he will instead blast the car off the road and into the horizon.

This also works with doing a Wheelie, which can be an extremely efficient way to get around. Do a backflip, land on your back wheel, and keep biking forward to perform a continuous trick and blast Cars out of the way. It's a hard trick to pull off, so in most situations, it's best just to do a regular Trick on a Car instead.
