8 Power Ring

The Power Ring is not based on the One Ring from The Lord of the Rings. It won’t turn heroes invisible or anything like that, although that would be cool. Instead, the Power Ring has the common RPG trope of increasing attack power by ten degrees.

This effect will increase the power of weapons, which in turn will make enemies fall faster. The quicker players can get through battles, the faster they can level up, which is a must early on as the roaming gangs of Hawaii hit hard.

7 Safety Brooch

Defense +10

The Safety Brooch is like the opposite of a Power Ring because it can increase defense. There is a shop players can buy it at, No Surf Life, which is around the middle of the city that Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth focuses on.

What players can’t buy easily is its upgraded version, the Metal Brooch, which increases defense by 20 instead of 10. That is harder to come by as players have to luck out through enemy drops or treasure chests. While it may seem like a waste to equip characters like Kazuma or Ichiban with defense-only accessories, they will do so until something more mystical appears.

6 Binding

The Binding is a weird name for this accessory, but it looks like a sweat band for jogging. It can be acquired at Ganryujima Armory, which is near the starting area at Revolve in Hawaii. It will increase the character’s HP by 20, which like defensive boosts, will help players last longer in battle.

Like the Safety Brooch, there is a better version of the Binding accessory called the Fighter’s Binding. It will increase HP by 40 which allows players to not have to worry about consuming as many items during battle in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

5 Luxurious Belt

The Luxurious Belt is where things start to get interesting, even though the stat bonus isn’t huge. It will add 10 MP to a character’s reserve and, like HP, is low toward the start. Characters like Ichiban or Kazuma can only do two to three moves before their MP limit is met. And since it’s just the two of them for quite a while, most players are going to rely on using specials to get through battles quickly.

To get the Luxurious Belt players should head to Burnes & Evans which is a higher-class shop. There is a rarer upgrade for this too, the Fighter’s Belt, which can increase MP further by 20.

4 Happy Lei

The Happy Lei is a must-have accessory that one, if not multiple characters should equip as its effects stack. This seemingly useless lei wreath will increase the drop rate of enemies once battles are over. There are better versions too, like the Fairy Lei which will increase drops and the rarity of items.

This is how players can score everything, from consumables to pieces of armor to new accessories which cannot be bought at shops around Hawaii. If players keep getting the same bad items on repeat, then they can at least sell stuff to make some more cash which is also hard to come by in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

3 Black Belt

The Black Belt is a rare accessory that not only gives players a special buff, but an increase in all five basic stats. It’s incredibly rare as an accessory and chances are players will run into it in the labyrinth, which is like Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s version of a basic dungeon crawler roguelike.

It's easy to understand how combat works in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, but being good at it is a whole other beast.

That side quest will unlock about a third of the way through the game, wherein players can find items in cases or get special ones for rescuing NPCs. The Black Belt’s major benefit will increase HP by 10, and MP by 5. It’s an all-around great accessory that rivals even some of the best early armor in the game.

2 Kiwami Mouthguard

The Kiwami Mouthguard decreases how much MP it costs to use an ability or cast a spell. It’s another way for players to conserve their moves during turn-based battles, which sometimes have to be wasted on using healing items. There are probably better accessories out there in the game that decrease MP usage even further, but the Kiwami Mouthguard is good for starters.

Any character who has healing spells that can target the entire party should equip this first above nearly all other accessories. Ichiban is a good example due to the Hero’s Healing ability.

1 Ankle Weights

The Ankle Weights is the only mentioned accessory that comes with a built-in defect. Equipping this to a character will decrease their MP temporarily, which is not good. However, the trade-off is worth it because EXP generation will be increased by 0.02. So, characters on the reward screen equipped with Angle Weights will say they gain 1.2 EXP instead of the normal amount.

It’s a small increase, but every little bit helps during the grind of an RPG. It’s important to note that players should only equip this accessory while exploring the island, and they should be removed during story missions.
