Where to Start the “Where is My Son?” Request
In Like a Dragon Gaiden, Joryu often takes on the role of an impromptu hero, assisting the residents of Sotenbori in their time of need. One such instance is the “Where is My Son?” request, which begins in the upper right corner of Sotenbori's map, near the E Sotenbori taxi stand and across from the takoyaki stall Kukuru.
Here, Joryu encounters a distressed mother who has lost her son in the bustling crowds of Shofukucho. She provides a key detail: the boy is dressed in green.
How to Complete the “Where is My Son?” Request
The mother does share that she last saw her son in Shofukucho, a main thoroughfare south of Sotenbori’s river. This street spans a significant portion of the map, so Joryu must be thorough in his search. Along the way, he might pick up snippets of conversation from NPCs about a child, but these are not particularly helpful.
The key to locating the boy is to explore the southbound street between Shofukucho and E Shofukucho, which is directly west of Ashitaba Park but not on the street directly surrounding the park. Here, Joryu finds the boy, identifiable by his green shirt and jacket, standing near a wall.
Upon speaking with the Troubled Child, Joryu confirms that he is the distraught mother’s lost child and that he has been desperately looking for her since they became separated. After their conversation, the boy leaves, presumably following Joryu's directions to reunite with his mother.
Joryu then returns to the mother's location, either on foot or by taxi. Upon arrival, he finds the mother and son reunited. The grateful mother rewards Joryu with Akame Points and ¥25,000, completing the request “Where is My Son?
