In Lightyear Frontier, there is a variety of different seeds that can be scavenged from the mysterious world around you and repurposed on your farm to enable you to grow more crops and keep things running smoothly.

Among the seeds available to gather around the planet, Tree Sprouts are some of the most important to consider investing in. Doing so will allow you to grow more trees and continue harvesting a consistent collection of Wood variants to continue building and upgrading your farm.

How to Get Tree Spouts in Lightyear Frontier

Green Tree Sprout in Lightyear Frontier

Luckily, for players seeking the best way to obtain Tree Sprouts, out of all materials in the game this one seems to be fairly easy to harvest. To obtain Tree Sprouts you will need to cut down various trees using the Spike Saw. Green Trees will drop Green Tree Sprouts fairly frequently, Yellow Trees will drop Yellow Tree Sprouts, and Pine Trees will drop Pine Tree Seeds.

Luckily, there is usually an abundance of trees that consist of all three variants throughout many sections of land across the planet. Some areas, such as Pine Heights and Yellow Forest are large sections of land that spawn a certain kind of tree in large patches, enabling you to harvest a bulk collection of a certain kind of Sprout rather efficiently.

Once you have stocked up quite a decent collection of Tree Sprouts, you can then head back to your camp to plant and grow them. This can be done in a location of your choice with the Sprout Cannon tool, which can be controlled by clicking to plant them into a mound of your choice. You will now need to water the Sprouts you have planted and continue this process for a few in-game days, as trees can take a while to fully grow. However, if you experience any rainy weather throughout the process, you can refrain from watering the Sprouts during that day, as the rain will automatically take care of this for you. Watering also only needs to be completed once per day, making this a fairly easy chore to complete once you get into the habit of routine.
