True Colors follows the story of Alex Chen as she unravels the mystery of her brother's "accidental" death. Players must undertake a journey full of incredible storytelling and powerful characters to find out the truth. Like the games before it, Life is Strange: True Colors is packed with Easter Eggs, secrets and extras for fans of the franchise to discover. Here are a few that only longtime fans found on their first playthrough.

5 Wolf Brothers Jumper

Wolves are a recurring symbol in Life is Strange 2. Within the game, these majestic wild creatures represent the two brothers, Sean and Daniel Diaz. As Daniel’s big brother, Sean concludes Chapter One with a bedtime story to calm his brother down. He tells the tale of the two "wolf brothers"; fierce and wild creatures on a journey that has parallels to their own. As the game progresses, the story of the ‘wolf brothers’ is used to recap the story so far, illustrated with beautiful sketches of the brothers as wolves.

In Life is Strange: True Colors, players can choose to dress Alex in a comfortable dark grey jumper that features two wolves howling at the moon on the front. Those who played Life Is Strange 2 will recognize it as a nod to Sean and Daniel.

4 Blue Butterfly Lights

The spirit-like Blue Butterfly has become synonymous with the series ever since it came to represent Chloe Price in the first Life is Strange game and Before the Storm. It led Max Caulfield to the girls bathroom at Blackwell Academy in "Chrysalis," and during the final funeral cutscene in "Polarized”.

In Chapter Two of Life is Strange: True Colors, players will spend a lot of time with Eleanor in her flower shop, Lethe Flowers. Amidst the beautiful array of flowers, eagle-eyed players might spot the blue emperor butterfly lights, glowing with their soft azure light, behind the counter and in the back room.

3 Firewalk Poster

InTrue Colors, Alex Chen spends a lot of time in the record store with Steph Gingrich and Valkyrie, the black cat. The record shop is a music hipster's paradise, with walls full of band posters and more vinyls than most players can count.

Fans of Life is Strange: Before the Storm will notice a familiar-looking logo on the front of the counter. This striking flame and stark black background is the logo of "Firewalk," a punk rock band that brought Chloe and Rachel together in Episode 1 of Before the Storm.

This Easter Egg is also referenced in 2015, where Max can find Firewalk graffiti in the bathroom of the Two Whales Diner. If the player chooses to take a photo, they will unlock the "Compressed" achievement.

2 Illuminati Eye

This infamous cryptic symbol is called the "Eye of Providence," often used to reference the watchful eye of God over humanity. Throughout the first Life is Strange game, the eye set within a triangle can be seen as graffiti in a number of areas, including in Chloe’s car and bedroom and in the school bathroom. In Life is Strange 2, players can find the Eye of Providence carved into a picnic table near the Trout Spring Trail in Mount Rainier National Park, which may have been left by Chloe on her escape from Arcadia Bay.

Some players have theorised that Chloe may have left her mark in Haven Springs as well. This theory is further supported by the inclusion of Steph in True Colors, as she was a side character in Life is Strange: Before the Storm. The Eye of Providence, which has come to be recognised as Chloe's signature tag, can be found spray painted onto a blue door near the Mines in Chapter One of True Colors. Whether this will have implications for the upcoming Wavelengths DLC remains to be seen.

1 Hawt Dawg Man

This iconic mascot was originally introduced as a doodle in Life is Strange. Since then, he has appeared in every single game, even as a playable character in The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit.

In Chapter One, Alex can mess with Steph’s drum kit. If players inspect a little closer, they will be able to find a little Hot Dawg Man plush sat on top. Furthermore, Alex can choose from four outfits per game, disregarding the additional bonus outfit from pre-order bonuses. In Chapter Four, Alex can adorn this beloved character on a shirt for the Spring Festival. A Hot Dawg Man shirt has been a tradition for Life is Strange protagonists since the very first game — there can’t be a more appropriate way to celebrate Alex’s first Spring Festival in Haven Spings.
