How to Get Frank's Keys in Life is Strange

The first step Max needs to do in order to get Frank's keys in Life is Strange is to talk with Frank at his booth. Max will fail at the encounter, but remarks that she can "Groundhog Day" the situation and rewind after obtaining important information from other characters. Frank will treat Max differently depending on whether she tried to shoot Frank or not in Episode 2 of Life is Strange.

After speaking with Frank, go to Nathan's booth at the opposite end of the diner and talk to him about Rachel Amber and Frank's relationship. Depending on whether players reported Nathan or hid the truth in Episode 1 of Life is Strange, he will be varying levels of hostile toward Max. Regardless of his attitude, he gives vital information about the pair.

Next, talk to the police officer at the bar. Go to the second page of dialogue options and ask about Rachel and Frank. He will comment on Frank's love of animals, especially dogs. Go back to Frank and talk to him about his love of dogs. Players may need to rewind if this prompt isn't showing.

Max will fail at getting Frank's keys, but he will set them on the diner table to taunt her. All Max needs to do now is pick up the keys and then rewind far enough back that Frank doesn't remember pulling the set of keys out.

Players can now go back to Chloe with the key to the RV, or they can explore the area for optional photo collectibles in Episode 3 of Life is Strange. There are two in this section of the game, but don't worry if they are missed. Players can come back in "Collectible Mode" at any time to search for the photos without affecting their previous decisions.
