Max and Chloe are hunting for Nathan near the end of Episode 4 of Life is Strange, but Max hits a snag in the search when a student won't let her into the Vortex Club VIP section of the End of The World party.

There are two ways players can get into the VIP section in Life is Strange, but one method requires them to have made a minor decision back in Episode 2. This guide will detail both ways of getting into the VIP section of the Vortex Club.

How to Get into VIP Section if Max is on The List

As mentioned above, there are two ways to get into the VIP Section. The first method can be used if Max talked to Courtney during Episode 2 of Life is Strange, and used her rewind power to get added to the Vortex Club VIP list. However, even if this did occur, the student at the entrance does not want to let Max in.

If Max was added to the list in Episode 2, players need to walk back to the bar to speak with Courtney. They will talk about Max's missed makeover, and then Courtney will grant Max access to the VIP section, and players can continue searching for Nathan in Life is Strange.

How to Get Into VIP section if Max is Not on The List

If Courtney did not add Max's name to the list, players will have to go to the other side of the pool and push a spool of ropes into the water. This will pull the speaker into the swimming pool, but allows Max to remove it as an obstacle and walk through the alternate curtain and get into the VIP section.

A student will see what Max did and block her path to the curtain, but this can be fixed by rewinding time to bring the ropes and speaker back, leaving no trace of Max's destruction. Just head to the curtain and into the VIP section of the Vortex Club party.

Players should hold off on entering the VIP area if they wish to get all the photo collectibles in Episode 4 of Life is Strange. There are two in this area, with the first obtained by taking a photo of Justin in the toilets, and the second by staring at the two moons at the entrance to the swimming pool.

Finding the ten photo opportunities in every episode of Life is Strange will lead to a very easy Platinum Trophy, or full Gamerscore, as they are the only optional unlockables in the game.

Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, with a Switch version releasing later in 2022.
