It may be a story-rich game that relies on decision-making as its primary gameplay mechanic, but there are still plenty of hidden collectibles to find in Life is Strange. These optional photo opportunities are scattered about each episode, and some require Max to make specific decisions, or the opportunity to take the picture won't appear.

There are 10 Photo collectibles to get in Life is Strange, Episode 1: Chrysalis. Don't worry if some were missed, as any episode can be repeated from the main menu in "Collectible Mode" to search for the missing photo opportunities without affecting previous player choices. Each picture will pop its own Trophy/Achievement, and once all ten have been found, the "Visionary" Trophy/Achievement will also unlock.

Optional Photo Opportunity 1 - Table (Mr. Jefferson's Classroom)

The first optional photo location is found on the table in the middle of Mr. Jefferson's classroom. It can be accessed after players can explore the room for the first time. Taking a picture of the Rachel Amber graffiti on the table will unlock the "Macro Eyes" Trophy/Achievement.

Optional Photo Opportunity 2 - Statue (Blackwell Academy Campus)

After talking to the principal and either reporting Nathan or hiding the truth in Life is Strange, Max will go outside to the campus area. Right in front of the door is a fountain. The second optional photo opportunity is the statue in the middle of the fountain. Taking the picture will pop the "Wide Angles" Trophy/Achievement.

Optional Photo Opportunity 3 - Skater Trevor (Blackwell Academy Campus)

Walk to the main steps in front of the campus and talk to Justin. Both responses will fail at unlocking the ability to take the third optional photo, so rewind time and then pick "I came to noseslide" and then choose "Tres Flip." Trevor will fall over, and Max can now take a photo and unlock the "Telephotogenic" Trophy/Achievement. It's unnecessary to rewind after, as choosing if Trevor gets injured is not one of the most important choices in Life is Strange.

Optional Photo Opportunity 4 - Squirrel (Outside Blackwell Academy Girls' Dormitory)

Before entering the girls' dormitory and deciding to make fun of Victoria or comfort her in Life is Strange, go to the tree near the janitor, Samuel. The squirrel under the tree is the location of photo opportunity 4, and taking the picture will pop the "Close-Ups" Trophy/Achievement.

Optional Photo Opportunity 5 - Max's Mirror (Blackwell Academy Girls' Dormitory)

After getting Victoria to move and entering Max's room in the girls' dormitory, turn around. The third optional photo opportunity is the mirror beside the door. Taking the picture will unlock the "Red Eye" Trophy/Achievement.

Optional Photo Opportunity 6 - Victoria's Picture Collage (Black Academy Girls' Dormitory)

When searching for evidence about Dana's involvement with Juliet's boyfriend, Max will have to enter Victoria's room. Mess up her picture collage, and then take a photo to pop the "Focused" Trophy/Achievement. Not rewinding after this will lead to minor dorm shenanigans with Victoria in Episode 2 of Life is Strange.

Optional Photo Opportunity 7 - Cracked Window (Outside Blackwell Academy Girls' Dormitory)

After getting Warren's flash drive back from Dana's room and leaving the girls' dormitory area, rewind time outside and tell Alyssa to move. The football will crack the window in front of her, and Max can now take the seventh optional photo. This unlocks the "Zoomed In" Trophy/Achievement.

After choosing to take a photo or intervene in Life is Strange, Max will go to the parking lot. Before talking to Warren, walk to the dirty van on his right. Draw on its window and then take the eight optional photo opportunity to pop the "Focal Pointed" Trophy/Achievement.

Optional Photo Opportunity 9 - Bird (Lighthouse)

To unlock optional photo opportunity 9, Max must save the bird in Joyce's room before blaming Chloe or taking the blame in Life is Strange. Before finding the tool to fix Max's camera, make sure to go to the window in Joyce's room upstairs. Rewind time as far back as possible, and then open the window.

Now that the bird is saved, players can turn Max around immediately once they gain control of her at the Lighthouse to find the bird perched on a rock. Take a picture to unlock the "Maximum Aperture" Trophy/Achievement.

Optional Photo Opportunity 10 - Chloe (Lighthouse)

Once the incline is climbed, and Max reaches the lighthouse, take the tenth and final photo opportunity of Episode 1 in Life is Strange by photographing Chloe on the bench. This pops the "Light Leak" and "Visionary" Trophies/Achievements, as long as all other optional photo opportunities have been located.

Finding the ten photo opportunities in every episode of Life is Strange will lead to a very easy Platinum Trophy, or full Gamerscore, as they are the only optional unlockables in the game.
