The first new details on Lies of P are revealed in the Weapons Showcase, which is filled with combat gameplay and a ranged arsenal of weaponry. Fans get an immediate first look at the Dancer's Curved Sword Blade as well as the Booster Glaive Handle, a separate customizable portion of the weapon. This blade-handle system is showcased throughout the trailer, giving fans an idea of the different mix-and-match options they will have when selecting and upgrading weapons to fit their preferred play style. Rapier blades can be paired with spear handles, saw blades can be combined with ax handles, and massive hammer heads can be supported by wrench handles. Single-build weapons including Proof of Humanity, Holy Sword of the Ark, and Uroboros' Eye round off the Weapons Showcase. The second trailer, the Legion Arm Showcase, gives fans a detailed look at the dual weapon and combat element that will be wholly unique to Lies of P.

Protagonist P has a steampunk-style robotic Legion Arm that can be customized with a variety of weapons and abilities, such as the AOE attack of Deus Ex Machina, the shield of Aegis, and the arm cannon of Falcon Eye. These weapons offer a variety of advanced combat opportunities that will allow players to enjoy a diversity of gameplay options. Other notable Legion Arm abilities include the Puppet String grappling hook, the Fulminis electric shock, the Flamberge flamethrower, and the Pandemonium toxic trail. While the overall gameplay may be similar to other Soulslike video games, these innovative and customizable weapon load-outs offer up an extensive arsenal for players to experiment with.

With such an incredible variety of weapon load-out options and the unique Legion Arm attachments, Lies of P looks to be a strong competitor in the realm of Soulslike games. The game has already captured the attention of fans of action-RPG video games, and with the weapons, enemies, and environments showcased in these two new trailers, Lies of P has the potential to captive an even larger audience.
