In Lies of P, Motivity is the direct equivalent of the Strength stat that's more commonly seen in other Soulslike games. As such, the weapons in this category are all fairly cumbersome, but they more than make up for their sluggishness with their ability to deal massive damage in a single strike.

As simple as most weapons in this category are, not all of them are as competitive as the ones on top of the food chain. Here are some of the best Motivity weapons in Lies of P based on versatility and capacity for raw damage.

Coil Mjolnir Hammer

This large sledgehammer is great for smashing things, but the ace up its sleeve is its main Fable Art: Thunderstrike. When used, players will unleash a heavy overhead swing that demolishes targets with physical and electrical damage. It also infuses the weapon with Electric Blitz damage, letting it pulverize puppets more easily.

The Coil Mjolnir is no slouch when it comes to defense either. Activating its handle Fable Art lets players perfectly block incoming attacks for a short duration. It's excellent against bosses with tricky timings like Laxasia and the Nameless Puppet, making it indispensible for those clutch situations.

Big Pipe Wrench

This oversized plumber's tool isn't as fancy as the Coil Mjolnir, but it can be just as effective when used properly. Its handle Fable Art (Payback Swing) unleashes a quick swing that gets stronger if used after blocking an attack. Players can use this to stagger an enemy and follow-up with the wrench head's Patient Smash for maximum damage.

The Big Pipe Wrench is a solid weapon by itself, though it is on the slower side. It's worth using for the Fable Arts alone, and players can always swap its parts around if they prefer one or the other.

Exploding Pickaxe

Much like the Coil Mjolnir, the Exploding Pickaxe can imbue itself with elemental damage. This time, it's fire, making this weapon particularly effective against Carcasses. Its attacks are mostly overhead smashes, and they're rather quick too. The handle's Fable Art reduces stamina consumption, allowing players to take full advantage of the weapon's attack speed.

Players need to use the Exploding Pickaxe Blade's Fable Art in order to imbue the weapon with flames. It costs three Fable bars to activate, and the weapon will remain on fire for around 10 seconds. Use both Fable Arts together for a nice spike in overall power.

Holy Sword of the Ark

This Special Weapon is great in both duels and group fights. Its handle Fable Art alters the length of the weapon, allowing it to switch from a short-ranged devastator to a wide-sweeping street cleaner. Players can get this fairly early in the game as well by giving King's Flame Fuoco's Ergo to Alidoro.

The Holy Sword of the Ark's length also determines the attack type of Patient Smash, which is tied to its blade. When retracted, Patient Smash hits just like how the Big Pipe Wrench would. If the sword is extended, it changes into a rushing attack with five consecutive horizontal slashes.

Nobless Oblige

This gigantic club can pummel puppets, people, and monsters alike with its quick downward smashes, In a pinch, its strike head Fable Art can be triggered to deal a strong AOE attack that eats a small chunk of the player's Ergo with every cast. Defense-wise, it comes with the Endure Fable Art, which lets players tank an incoming hit.

Noblesse Oblige can reach an S scaling in Motivity when fitted with the proper Crank. Because of this, it'll be able to deal more raw damage than the other Motivity-based Special Weapons when completely upgraded.

Lies of P is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
