Neowiz's Lies of P is a game that has been attracting a lot of attention from the gaming community. The soulslike game has many notable features that debuted in the demo released in June. Lies of P takes inspiration from the work of the legendary Italian writer Carlo Collodi and applies a unique twist to it. Pinocchio, the game's protagonist, is a puppet who has to fight his way through the city of Krat, which has been run over by heinous mechanical monsters. Players will have to fight through hordes of creatures, so it is important to pick the right style of combat.
The Three Combat Styles
There are a total of three different styles that players can choose from. In order to start the process, players will need to head to the last compartment of the train. The guiding voice will warn players not to head out without a weapon, and it will give them three choices.
The first is called Path of the Cricket: Balanced, and it offers both speed and power. It gives players the best of both worlds, and it is arguably the best style by default. If players select the balanced style, Pinocchio will start with HP 283, Stamina 109, Physical ATK 110, and Physical DEF 78.
The next style is Path of the Bastard: Dexterity. It is made for people who like to be nimble on foot. Pinocchio becomes quicker and is able to strike the enemy before they can attack him. In this combat style, Geppetto's puppet will have a respectable HP of 262, Stamina of 132, Physical ATK of 99, and Physical DEF of 74.
The third and final style is Path of the Sweeper: Strength. It is focused on pure physical power. It is for players who want to mow down hordes of enemies with a massive sword. After selecting this style, Pinocchio will have HP 323, Stamina 96, Physical ATK 123, and Physical DEF 80. The higher defense ensures that players can tank several hits before having to worry about their HP.
Each combat style also gives Pinocchio a different weapon, so selecting the wrong one could cause a lot of problems.

Which One To Choose?
All three styles have their pros and cons, and it is not that easy to make a choice. Players who do not have a preferred style of fighting should opt for the Path of the Cricket. It has the best balance and ensures that Pinocchio is able to deal enough damage and tank several hits without any problems.
