Of the many highly anticipated games that have been released in 2022 so far, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is one that many fans of the LEGO series have been waiting years for. Ever since it was first announced in late 2017, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has managed to cultivate a lot of excitement, and since its release, many players have enjoyed the game so far. Recently, one player discovered an in-game Easter Egg from an unlikely video game franchise.

Video games as a medium are no strangers to Easter Eggs, with nearly every major release featuring some form of secret event, hidden area, or homage to another work. The LEGO games are no exception to this, with many of the games managing to sneak in hidden details and references from other franchises. Though, strangely enough, this most recent Easter Egg comes from the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise.

Over on YouTube, a user named Vame Geveloper posted a video of an in-game LEGO character talking about how great the party is and then ends the dialogue with "I'm really feeling it," a reference to the XenobladeChronicles franchise. Interestingly, this dialogue is actually spoken by Adam Howden, the voice actor for Shulk in the original Xenoblade Chronicles.

Apparently, a former TT Games developer named David Harris is a massive fan of Xenoblade Chronicles and once he heard that Adam Howden was providing a voice-over for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, he managed to work in a Xenoblade reference. The phrase "I'm really feeling it" is a common quotation from Xenoblade Chronicles that got popularized when Shulk made his appearance in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

It's amazing how much popularity Xenoblade Chronicles has managed to cultivate, to the point where the series' presence can be felt in a LEGO game. Back when the original Xenoblade Chronicles was released in 2010 for the Wii, it was not extremely popular. Since that time, the series has spawned three sequels, including Xenoblade Chronicles X for the Wii U, three characters included in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster, and now, is being referenced in other games outside of the series.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what else LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga might have in store for its players. Given the rich worldbuilding of Star Wars, there are bound to be plenty of other references found in The Skywalker Saga. And with the inclusion of the upcoming DLC packs for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, there will likely be even more secret content for players to discover.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
