LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the newest entry in the LEGO Star Wars franchise. With campaigns for each of the major games and twenty different unique modes, the title is one of the most ambitious yet. Each of The Skywalker Saga's game modes can be unlocked via one of the nineteen Datacards available throughout the world. For dedicated fans, these items present a wonderful opportunity to explore the worlds of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

The Skywalker Saga, as mentioned above, has twenty different game modes. One is automatically unlocked from the start, "Mumble Mode," and the other nineteen are hidden around the map. The 'modes' aren't just for gameplay enhancements, though. They can also include cheats, experience boosts, and more.

How to Get Datacards in LEGO Star Wars

LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga Gameplay Freedom

To get a Datacard, players need to first find them in the game world and then walk up and collect them. It's worth mentioning, too, that there are no Datacards located in the same region. There is typically only one per region or city. In fact, most of the planets in-game have only one Datacard available for discovery. Once these cards have been found, players can pay to unlock and use them. While some modes grant helpful bonuses, most simply activate funny Easter eggs in LEGO Star Wars, which is a welcome addition to the title. LEGO games, after all, are known in part for their whimsical style.

Many of the modes in The Skywalker Saga are entertaining and unique. "Baguette Lightsabers," for example, turns every lightsaber into a large loaf of bread. "Big Head" mode, as the name suggests, enlarges the heads of characters. Some of the more practical options include "Universal Translator," which translates alien languages, and "Cantina Music" which plays the fan-favorite Star Wars tune. Along with great Star Wars character interactions and smooth gameplay, these modes definitely make The Skywalker Saga a force to be reckoned with!

While The Skywalker Saga is far from perfect, it does a phenomenal job of delivering an exciting experience to both long-time and new fans alike. Those who simply try to beat The Skywalker Saga will certainly enjoy themselves, but the real fun comes from exploring the various maps in the title. As games get larger and more complex, it is fascinating to experience such a popular world in a simple, charming and captivating style. Indeed, with so many unique game modes, fans will find entertainment in The Skywalker Saga at every turn.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
