Capital Ships are massive battlestations in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and indeed it is possible for players to take control of them. Death Star
The first steps towards unlocking the Death Star in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga are completing Episode 4 - A New Hope and visiting the Federal District on Courscant. With those prerequisites met, players should make their way to the Great Temple on Yavin 4 and head to the top floor of the Temple Hangar. There is an NPC that will offer the "Operation: Stardust" mission in this area, and fans should complete it, open the Holoprojector, select the Ships tab, and spend 5,000,0000 studs to unlock the Death Star.
Death Star 2
For this Capital Ship, players should simply complete Episode 6 - Return of the Jedi and then travel to the Ewok Village on Endor. There is a quest-giving Ewok in this location, and resolving their "Doom Ball 3" quest will allow players to purchase the Death Star 2 from within their Holoprojectors for 2,000,000 studs.
Executor
Fans that want to take control of the Executor will need to engage the ship in battle. This can be done by visiting either Bespin Space or Tatooine Space and engaging in the various space battles that are taking place in the area. Participating in these fights will eventually cause the Capital Ship to appear, and players must then destroy its defenses, board it, and dispatch the personel inside. At the end of this encounter, fans will be given the opportunity to buy the Executor for 5,000,000 studs, and that purchase can be made later through the Holoprojector if need be.
Steadfast
The process of unlocking the Steadfast is very similar to the process of unlocking the Executor, requiring players to seize control of the craft in space. This time around, LEGO Star Wars fans should look for the Capital Ship in Pasaana Space or Jakku Space, and fighting battles in these areas should once again make the vessel reveal itself. Once the foes inside the Executor have been defeated, fans can purchase the ship for 3,000,000 studs.
Trade Federation Battleship
The final Capital Ship is unlocked in the same fashion as the Executor and Steadfast, and action-adventure game fans should simply travel to Naboo Space or Geonosis Space, fight battles until the Trade Federation Battleship appears, and then take control of it. All that is left to do with the ship seized is spend the 3,000,000 studs that are required to fully unlock the craft.

Once a Capital Ship has been unlocked, it can be summoned in any of LEGO Stars Wars: The Skywalker Saga's space areas. Upon arriving in one of these areas, fans should select the vessel of interest from within the Ships tab of their Holoprojector and wait for to appear. Players can then board the ship and explore it as much as they would like.
