Featuring all nine major Star Wars movies, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is full of references for fans. From inside jokes made about the films and Star Wars franchise to easter eggs referencing other IPs, the latest LEGO Star Wars title has plenty of secrets for fans to dig into. The game does seem to have quite the focus on the blue milk found in a short scene from The Last Jedi, though.

The eighth main film in the Star Wars franchise is known to be one of the most controversial entries. As Director Rian Johnson sought to subvert the expectations of the audience, many were left feeling slightly confused and disappointed. The characterization of Luke Skywalker was an issue for a lot of fans, especially with some scenes making him out to be a bit of a joke, such as one moment when Luke milks a strange alien before drinking the odd blue liquid. This left many fans bewildered, although LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga saw it as an opportunity to create some hilarious content.

Already fans have been discovering the running gag in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga related to blue milk. While that joke is fairly easy to spot through much of the game's cutscenes which feature Luke drinking blue milk, one keen-eyed Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga player has discovered yet another easter egg associated with the strange liquid. One Stormtrooper in the game can be seen reading a newspaper, which shows a graph indicating a red line scaling upwards. While the newspaper is written in an unrecognisable language, diehard Star Wars fans were able to translate what the newspaper says.

The newspaper simply says, "Blue milk sales up!" This indicates that Luke's seemingly strange habit of drinking blue milk is becoming a widespread phenomenon across the galaxy. This is an easy hidden reference for fans to find, and while it doesn't give away any details around the lore or characters of Star Wars, it is yet another example of the traditional LEGO humor making its way into LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is full of funny character interactions and jokes like the blue milk reference. From Chancellor Palpatine accidentally revealing his identity as a Sith Lord to Young Anakin speaking with Darth Vader, there's plenty of fun even for players who may find they don't like the story content in some of the Star Wars movies.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
