Whether they head out to the snowy Frostlands or explore Lava Caves in the desert, players always return to their village at the end of the day.

Upgrading the village is a vital part of the game since each tier has its own benefits. Before upgrading one’s village, players need to consider a few different aspects, such as whether they have all the resources required to level up their village. This guide comprises a list of all the village upgrades in LEGO Fortnite, along with all tiers, effects, and required materials.

The cost of upgrading the village to a higher level increases dramatically, so it’s a good idea for players to prepare beforehand. The table below comprises a complete list of all Village levels and the resources needed to upgrade them.

Village Level	Required Resources	Benefits
Level 1	Automatically achieved after building a Village Square with 8 Granite, 10 Wood	The village becomes a nice visiting spot for friendly NPCs. Players can recruit one NPC and ask them to live in the village.
Level 2	15 Granite, 15 Wood	Villagers get new jobs, such as foraging for resources and refining wood and stone.
Level 3	20 Granite, 10 Planks	Villagers can give gifts to players. Additionally, players can ask another NPC to live in the village.
Level 4	25 Granite, 15 Planks, 10 Knotroot	Villagers can do more than just basic tasks; they can cook for players, plant seeds, and tend to farm plots. Those assigned to woodcutting unlock new types of wood.
Level 5	20 Planks, 15 Knotroot, 15 Marble	The village becomes a must-see destination that attracts rare NPCs. Players can recruit another NPC to live in the village.
Level 6	20 Knotroot, 30 Granite Slabs	Villagers get more new jobs, including smelting metal, crafting textiles, and collecting gems. Those assigned to stonecutting unlock new types of stone.
Level 7	20 Knotroot, 20 Marble Slabs	Villagers can now gift new recipes to players.
Level 8	10 Rough Amber, 30 Marble Slabs	Players can befriend a new NPC and ask them to live in the village.
Level 9	10 Cut Amber, 15 Obsidian, 15 Flexwood	Villagers are capable of leaving the village and foraging other biomes for resources.
Level 10	15 Flexwood Rod, 20 Cut Amber, 30 Obsidian Slabs	Players can ask one last NPC to join the village, for a total of five recruited villagers.
