An imaginative Fortnite player built an impressive city from the ground up in the new LEGO mode. Fortnite players have been pushing the limits of the LEGO mode, crafting steerable vehicles and some other contraptions using bricks. Recently, one constructed a blocky version of the Avengers Tower, while another made a pirate ship with explorable interior parts.

LEGO Fortnite is where players unleash their creativity to make all types of contraptions, including houses and weapons. As in Minecraft, players can choose from game modes, survival and sandbox, which have their own rules. In a sandbox world, there is no need to gather resources and kill hostile creatures to survive. Survival, on the other hand, is the base mode of LEGO Fortnite, requiring players to eat food, manage their stamina, and protect themselves from enemies.

A recent LEGO Fortnite leak suggests more weapons, including the Gravity Gun, will be added to the survival game in the future.

One LEGO Fortnite player known as SlimRizlaPlease on Reddit showed a beautiful city they created within the sandbox mode. This build doesn't feature any pre-made blueprints, meaning the original poster had to put in a lot of work to finish it. The entire city consists of eleven structures, each having its own unique design. In addition to urban parks, streetlights, and a small square, it features agricultural areas used for farming vegetables. The fact that some structures have explorable interiors makes the city even more impressive. According to SlimRizlaPleas, each house is decorated with furniture and kitchens.

On Reddit, fellow Fortnite players were impressed by the custom buildings in the city, with some wondering why there is a build limit in the LEGO mode. The original poster claimed that they first made a foundation to make sure their city was built on a flat area. It will be interesting to see more blocky contraptions from the Fortnite community in the future.

LEGO Fortnite players must set up a crafting bench to make construction tools, such as Pickaxes and Shovels, that can be useful when building things. Though there is no way to repair these items, they can be upgraded by using rare materials like Cut Ambers and Knotroot Rods. This will enhance their durability and allow players to gather more resources than usual.

Aside from the survival-crafting LEGO game, Fortnite's newest chapter has brought important changes to the base mode to offer smoother gameplay. From weapon attachments and bosses to new map POIs, it features an assortment of content players can enjoy until the conclusion of Chapter 5 Season 1 on March 8.
