How to Unlock and Craft Loom

Loom is a high-end Crafting Station that acts as a key to manufacturing fabric-based items in the game. It can also help players with unlocking a Glider. Here are all the steps players need to follow to unlock and craft a Loom in LEGO Fortnite.

Visit The Dry-Valley Biome

To unlock Loom, players must visit the Dryland region of the map. This hot and humid area is home to Flexwood, a significant requirement to unlock Loom. Flexwood can be obtained from the readily available cactuses in the Dry-Valley Biome.

Players need to own a Rare-tier Forest Axe in their inventory to farm cactuses. If a player does not have one, it's easy to craft using Cut Amber and Knotroot Rods.

Players need to upgrade their Crafting Station to the same rarity they wish to upgrade their weapons.

Materials Required

Players will need to collect Flexwood and Sand Claws in order to build a Loom. In case players need help finding sand claws, they can be obtained by defeating a Sand Wolf. These creatures are located in the Shores and Valley regions.

Players must bring Snowberries to fight off the hot weather of the Dry-Valley Biome.

Building a Loom

Once these materials are available, players can create a loom from their building menu. Here is a list of items players require:

  • Nine pieces of Flexwood
  • 8 Pieces of Flexwood Rod
  • 6 Pieces of Sand Claw

Once the Loom has been crafted, players can place Silk and Wool fabric to make the thread. However, they will need a Spinning Wheel to manufacture the required ingredients to use the Loom.
