12 Navi - Rat
Rats are outgoing and have a lot of energy. However, they are not the best conversationalists. This fits with Navi's personality pretty well as she always states what is on her mind. Despite having similar qualities to a fish, according to the Chinese Zodiac, Sidon would be an Ox. 10 Link - Tiger
Tigers are known for being courageous, and there is no other in all of Hyrule that embodies courage more than Link. 9 Saria - Rabbit
Saria, like a Rabbit, is calm, quiet, and kind. She cares deeply for the other Kokiri, as well as Link, and would do anything for them. While the other Kokiri resented Link, Saria is the only one that cared for him. Those that were born in 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, or 2011 are the Forest Sage from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
8 Ganondorf - Dragon
Ganondorf possesses the Triforce of Power and Dragons are known to be powerful. They are successful leaders, and Ganon has reached his goals many times. When he defeats Link in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, he was the victor of an entire timeline. In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Calamity Ganon destroyed Hyrule before being trapped in the castle for 100 years.
Though Link and Zelda usually save their kingdom from his wrath, Ganondorf has successfully hurt them many times as well. Those born in 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, or 2012 are Ganon.
7 Zelda - Snake
Like Link and Ganon, the Triforce and the Chinese Zodiac have another quality in common. Zelda's Triforce of Wisdom makes the princess of Hyrule a Snake. Besides their wisdom, Snakes are also known for their judgment, and having things go their way, characteristics that any ruler should have. Zelda has always been very clever and does what is best for her people. Players born in 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, or 2013 are Zelda.
6 Skull Kid - Horse
Horses are known for being animated so the mischievous Skull Kid fits the bill. He is very clever and actively seeks attention. In The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, he caused a lot of trouble for Link and the civilians of Termina. However, it turned out that Skull Kid was being controlled by Majora's Mask and really just wanted his friends back. Fans that were born in 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, or 2014 are Skull Kid.
5 Link's Grandma - Goat
In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Link has a sister, Aryll, and a grandmother. Goats are known to be kind and gentle, which are also character traits of Link's grandma.
Link and Aryll know that they can always depend on her and that she will not stand in their way. Though she is sad when her grandchildren are gone, she remains calm. Players born in the years 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, or 2015 are Link's grandma.
4 Midna - Monkey
Like those that were born on the Year of the Monkey, Midna is very mischievous and snarky. She ridicules those around her, especially Link and Zelda. However, as players progress through The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, they find that Midna makes a good ally as she begins to get along with the other heroes in the game. 3 Daruk - Rooster
Daruk is the Goron Champion in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, as well as a Rooster. He is confident and outspoken. In battle, he can be very loud and is proud to be the Goron Champion. 2 Epona - Dog
Epona is Link's steed. She has been apart of many of his adventures and is always there for him whenever he needs her. In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the two meet. 1 Fi - Pig
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword gave fans more info on how the Master Sword was created. Fi, a spirit connected to the Goddess Sword, called upon Link to bring a demise to Demise. Throughout their journey, they turn the sword into the infamous Master Sword, causing it to become much more powerful. When Link defeats the Demon King, he seals his soul into the sword. Fi also becomes one with the Master Sword and sleeps within it throughout all of history. As a result, she is always with Link and helping him in their goal of stopping Demise, who would later become Ganondorf. As Pigs are very helpful and will do what it takes to get what they wish, Fi is undoubtedly a Pig. Players born in the years 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, or 2019 are the Master Sword.
