Fans that enjoyed Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on the Nintendo 3DS will likely remember Grezzo, the studio that put in the leg work to port these games over to Nintendo's handheld device. According to a new 'emergency recruitment' listing on the company's official website, the studio is currently hiring for a new project which will utilize the Unreal Engine 4 - a strong indicator that a Nintendo Switch game from Grezzo could be on the cards.

The new job listing boasts the curious headline "Would you like to make a legend together 2", a reference to a previous job listing the company posted when the Majora's Mask 3DS remake was in development. Koichi Ishii, the founder of Grezzo, had also previously used the legend titling while he directed Secret of Mana during his time at Squaresoft. In any event, it's clear that Grezzo is hiring for what looks like it could be a high-profile intellectual property.

The official job listing is looking for C++ programmers with experience with the Unreal Engine, along with 3D character and 3D map modelers.  Given that the company has produced 5 different Nintendo 3DS titles in the last 4 years, making a jump to the Nintendo Switch would seem like a logical progression. Since the studio was founded in 2006, it has exclusively produced games for Nintendo platforms, which only serves to increase the likelihood of a future Switch release.

Gamers haven't known what project Grezzo has been working on since it released the 3DS roleplaying game Ever Oasis 4 in June, with many gamers optimistically speculating that perhaps Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask could now be in the process of being ported to the Nintendo Switch. Given that the studio is hiring 3D character modelers and mappers, it seems less likely that a direct port is on the cards, though that isn't to say Nintendo won't pursue those options in the future.
