Although combat-oriented shrines can still be enjoyable, many players prefer taking on puzzle-based shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Rather than relying on reflexes, those hoping to solve these thought-provoking shrines will need to use their brains, while also making the most of all of the abilities at Link's disposal.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's Tsutsu-um Shrine doesn't really focus on one specific theme like some of the others do, with players needing to use a combination of wind, friction, and momentum in order to reach their goal. The game does provide hints in the form of green stakes though, which should give players an idea of what to do next.

Tsutsu-um Shrine Location

The Tsutsu-um Shrine can be found in Hyrule Field, just past the Outskirt Stable and to the west of the Coliseum Ruins. It's a little out of the way when compared to some of the other shrines in Tears of the Kingdom, so players may want to ride a horse or use a Zonai device in order to speed up the journey there. The coordinates for the Tsutsu-um Shrine are -1423, -1352, 0067.

Tsutsu-um Shrine Walkthrough

To navigate the first section of the Tsutsu-um Shrine, players should pick up the platform with the stake attached to it using Link's Ultrahand ability and stick it into the side of the moving pillar at around the same spot as the existing stake. They can then hop onto the platform they just placed when the pillar is at its lowest point, wait for the pillar to rise, and then use the Paraglider to reach the area ahead of them.

In this next area, players should head over to the wind spout and then jump. When prompted, they'll want to press the X button to Glide, which will propel Link high up into the air. To progress, they'll need to glide to the large floating platform with patterns on it, but before doing so, they may want to double back and glide to the chest on top of the white pillar that they just walked past to get themselves five Arrows. After that, they can progress as intended.

Once on the next platform, players should turn their attention to the giant ball. If they get right to the edge of the platform, they'll be able to grab the ball out of the air using Link's Ultrahand ability and drop it onto the giant spinning wheel so that it falls into the metal track at the bottom. They can then move one of the stakes onto the darker, outer part of the spinning wheel, which will push the ball along the tracks and into the orange target. This will open up the door to the statue chamber, allowing players to glide back over to the entrance and grab the Light of Blessing.

If players are having trouble grabbing the ball out of the air with Ultrahand, they can move one of the nearby stakes into the path of the ball so that it slows the ball's momentum, making it much easier to grab.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
