The Eutoum Shrine is one of several Proving Grounds shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, with players stripped of their fineries and expected to demonstrate their combat skills against an army of Soldier Constructs. It can seem pretty intimidating at first, but with the right strategy, the Euroum Shrine really isn't all that bad.

As the shrine's tagline suggests, the Eutoum Shrine requires The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom players to sneak past a bunch of guards. Doing so will enable them to get their hands on some powerful weapons, with which they'll be able to dispatch their enemies with relative ease in order to claim the shrine's rewards.

The Eutoum Shrine is in the Goflam's Secret Hotspring area of the Hebra Mountains, which is to the north of the Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. Players can reach it by launching themselves from the tower and then gliding north, or fast traveling to either the Kahatanaum Shrine or the Mayaumekis Shrine in the Rising Island Chain and then dropping down. The coordinates for the Eutoum Shrine are -3506, 3569, 0387.

Though it is possible to defeat all of the Soldier Constructs with the weapons provided to players at the beginning of the shrine, it's much easier to find stronger gear. There are a few storerooms dotted around that allow players to do this, the best of which contains powerful Zonai devices that can make completing the Eutoum Shrine a real breeze. To reach this particular storeroom, players should take a right at the beginning of the shrine and then use Link's Ascend Ability to get up onto the walkway above.

After following this walkway for a short while and jumping over a gap or two, players will come to a laser grid. It's possible to get over this by using the nearby barrel together with Link's Recall ability, but there's no real punishment for just running straight through it, so players should do exactly that, taking a right immediately afterward.

This will lead players to a dead end and a wooden crate, which they should lift up into the air with Link's Ultrahand ability. After holding it there for a few seconds, they can let it back down, climb on top, then use Recall to rewind the crate's momentum. Once it's at its highest point, players should jump off and glide to their left, toward a single red laser beam and a white trapdoor.

Lifting up this trapdoor will allow players to drop down to the area below, though they should avoid doing this while the alarms are sounding. Assuming the Constructs aren't on alert, they can head down and quickly disassemble the watchtower by grabbing it with Ultrahand and jiggling the right analog stick until it falls to pieces.

Players will then be free to activate the nearby Beam Emitter, pick it up, and use it to take out all of the Soldier Constructs. A few of them fire projectiles, but won't be able to do so while the beam is focused on them, making it pretty easy to take them out by locking onto them with the ZL trigger. After defeating all of the Soldier Constructs, players can head into the statue room, where they'll find a chest containing a Sapphire and that all-important Light of Blessing.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
