After receiving the Paraglider, players should head to the east edge of Breath of the Wild's Great Plateau and glide to the area that is below. Fans should now continue across the Proxim Bridge and make their way toward the Dueling Peaks, two large rock formations that are pictured in the image that is above. As players approach these formations, they will see the Dueling Peaks Tower, and they should swim to it, climb it, and examine the pedestal at the top to reveal the Dueling Peaks Tower Region's map. Players will also unlock the Sheikah Sensor upon activating the tower, and this features makes locating Shrines in Breath of the Wild much easier.

Players are now free to use Breath of the Wild's Paraglider to return to the ground and pass through the valley that is between the Dueling Peaks. As players emerge from this valley, they will see the Ha Dahamar Shrine on the left. Again, this Shrine should, at least, be made into a fast travel point, and fans can access its pedestal by using Cryonis to create an ice pillar, climbing that pillar, and then jumping over the spikes.

The Dueling Peaks Stable is situated just east of the Ha Dahamar Shrine, and it is strongly recommended that players speak with Rensa and Tasseren at the stable's kiosk in order to initiate the Wild Horses side quest. This quest serves as a tutorial on horse taming in Breath of the Wild, and it will help players procure their very first mount. Fans can also initiate the Misko, the Great Bandit side quest while they are at the Dueling Peaks Stable by speaking with Domidak and Prissen inside the tent.

Players should now follow the road that moves northward from the Dueling Peaks Stable to continue the journey toward Impa. As players move along this road, they will encounter Hestu, an NPC that will initiate the Priceless Maracas side quest. This quest serves as an introduction Breath of the Wild's Korok Seeds, collectibles that are used to increase inventory space, and it is strongly recommended that players complete it at this point.

To note, players will need some Korok Seeds in order to fully complete this Breath of the Wild side quest. While fans that have done a bit of exploring along the way may already be in possession of several of these collectibles, here are details on a few Korok Seeds that are near Hestu:

  • Use Magnesis to pick up the metal block and place it so that the two block formations on the cliff match.
  • Pick up the rock on the ledge.
  • Shoot an arrow into the circle at the top of the gate.

Once the Priceless Maracas side quest has been resolved, players should continue to follow the road into Kakariko Village. This village is home to many side-quest-offering NPCs, some useful shops, and a Goddess Statue that will provide Heart Containers or Stamina Vessels in exchange for Spirit Orbs. There is also a Shrine just north of the village, and players are once again advised to, at least, examine its pedestal to make fast travel easier.

After spending some time exploring Kakariko Village in Breath of the Wild, players should approach the guards at the base of the stairs leading to Impa's house. This will lead to a brief confrontation, and fans should climb the stairs and speak with Paya at the top when it concludes. Fans are then free to enter Impa's house in order to trigger a cutscene that marks the end of the Seek Out Impa Main Quest.
