There are total of nine Shrines scattered across the Dueling Peaks Tower Region in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and each one awards a Spirit Orb upon completion. While it is not mandatory that players obtain absolutely every one of these Spirit Orbs, it is wise to put some amount of effort toward finding and finishing Shrines. This guide is here to assist with those endeavors, and details on the locations of, and solutions to, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Dueling Peaks Shrines can be found in what follows.

Bosh Kala Shrine (The Wind Guides You)

Solution

  • Climb the stairs on the left, stand in the wind generated by the fan, jump off the right side of platform, and use Breath of the Wild's Paraglider to get pushed to the chest.

  • Proceed to the next room, climb the stairs on the left, and use the Paraglider in the fan's wind to get pushed across a large gap.

  • Navigate to the third fan, use the Paraglider in its wind, and veer right upon approaching the platform that is ahead to reach a chest.
  • Use the third fan once again, this time landing on the platform that leads to the monk.

Hila Rao Shrine (Drifiting)

Players must complete Watch Out For the Flowers, one of Breath of the Wild's Shrine Quests, in order to enter the Hila Rao Shrine. To address this quest, players should simply use the cleared path to reach the Shrine without stepping on any flowers.

Solution

  • Use the moving platform to cross the first room.

  • Use the moving platforms to cross the second room. Notably, there is an underwater chest in this room, which players can bring to the surface with Breath of the Wild's Magnesis Rune.

  • Use Cryonis to place an ice pillar in the water loop and ride it to the other side. There is another Breath of the Wild chest in this section, which can be accessed by using Cryonis to place an ice pillar underneath the container.
  • Use a Remote Bomb to destroy the cracked-block wall and proceed to the monk.

Ree Dahee Shrine (Timing is Critical)

Breath of the Wild players can access the Ree Dahee Shrine from within the valley between the Dueling Peaks.

Solution

  • Step on the button to tilt the ramp and drop the ball into the hole.

  • Ride the moving platform, stand on the second button, and step off as soon as the ball is about to fall to the second ramp. This will allow the ball to drop into the hole on the left.

  • Ride the second moving platform, stand on the third button, and step off as the ball approaches the end of the ramp. This will fling the ball into the hole across the gap.
  • Ride the third moving platform, use Magnesis to pick up a metal barrel that is down and to the right, and place the barrel on the third button to create a ramp leading to a chest.

  • Use the ladder near the metal barrels to reach the monk.

Shee Vaneer Shrine (Twin Memories)

The Shee Vaneer Shrine is located on top of the southern Dueling Peak in Breath of the Wild, and its solution is connected to the Shee Venath Shrine, which is located on top of the northern Dueling Peak.

  • Move the balls so that they are configured as the balls in the Shee Venath Shrine are initially. The picture above showcases the correct configuration.

  • Ride the moving platform in the first room and glide around the corner to reach a chest on a ledge.
  • Pass through the gate that has been opened and climb the ladder to reach the monk.

Shee Venath Shrine (Twin Memories)

The Shee Venath Shrine is located on top of the northern Dueling Peak, and its solution is connected to Breath of the Wild'sShee Vaneer Shrine, which is located on top of the southern Dueling Peak.

Ha Dahamar Shrine (The Water Guides)

The Ha Dahamar Shrine is accessed by using the Cryonis Rune to jump over the thorns that surround the structure.

Solution

  • Use Cryonis to create an ice pillar in the pool and climb to the next level.
  • Use Cryonis on the waterfall to create a horizontal ice pillar that can be used to clear the gap. Notably, Breath of the Wild fans can reach a chest by creating a set of ice pillar stairs within this waterfall.

  • Climb the stairs and use Cryonis on the water wall to guide the falling ball into the hole below. The picture above showcases the correct configuration.
  • Pass through the gate and interact with the monk.

Toto Sah Shrine (Toto Sah Apparatus)

The Toto Sah Shrine is accessed by using Breath of the Wild's Remote Bomb Rune to destroy a cracked-rock wall on the west side of the river.

  • Interact with the first apparatus and use motion controls to position the walkway so that the gap can be crossed. Notably, there is a chest on the underside of this walkway.

  • Interact with the second apparatus and use motion controls to align the stair sections and create a ramp to the next area.

  • Interact with the third apparatus and use motion controls to shift the platform so that its chest, which contains a small key, can be reached.

  • Use the third apparatus again to position the platform as seen in the image that is above. Then traverse the platform and use the small key to open a gate on the other side.

Ta’loh Naeg Shrine (Ta’loh Naeg's Teaching)

Solution

  • Open the chests to the left and right upon entry.
  • Complete the tutorial on the Perfect Dodge, Perfect Guard, and Spin Attack mechanics.
  • Proceed through the gate, open the chest, and interact with the monk.

Lakna Rokee Shrine (Lakna Rokee's Blessing)

The Lakna Rokee Shrine is accessed by completing the Stolen Heirloom Shrine Quest in Breath of the Wild. Players can initiate this quest by visiting Impa's house after completing the Flown the Coop, By Firefly's Light, and Find the Fairy Fountain quests in Kakariko Village.

Solution

  • Open the chest and interact with the monk.
