The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 may be further along than most fans thought, as the Spanish voice actors for Zelda and Revali have revealed some information about the game's status. Marc Navarro (Revali) and Nerea Alfonso (Zelda) claimed that they are done recording their lines for the game on the Un Cafe Con Nintendo podcast interview.
It has been about a year since Nintendo first announced that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 was in the works, but since then it has been almost completely silent on the matter. Fans are itching for new information on the game, and this may be exactly what they need.
It's worth noting that this is in no way an official statement from Nintendo and should be taken more like a rumor than anything else. In spite of this, it is pretty exciting to think that the game could be coming sooner than anticipated.
Typically, localized voice acting is one of the final stages of creating a video game, so the fact that these two Spanish voice actors say that their work is complete on the game could be a great sign. The best case scenario is that the game is nearing completion, in which case it will likely be announced and released very soon. It is also possible, however, that Nintendo decided to do the voice acting for the game sooner in the process, so fans shouldn't hold their breath.
Regardless, maybe this development will prompt Nintendo to make a statement to clear things up a bit. With a game as highly anticipated as Breath of the Wild 2, rumors are bound to start and spread like wildfire. It would be beneficial for both fans and Nintendo for the company to share some indisputable information about the game's status. Unfortunately, due to non-disclosure agreements, it is unlikely that any other voice actors will speak out about their status, as the Spanish voice actors even took a moment to question whether they should have said what they did or not.
Again, this isn't a confirmation of the game's status, but it does provide some hope for those longing to hear something about the game. Nintendo has kept things under wraps for the most part, but it is only a matter of time before it breaks its silence and shares what's going on with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.
