An artist of fan of The Last of Us created a hand-made bust of a Clicker, one of the franchise's most terrifying monsters. Players of The Last of Us series know this enemy very well as one of the biggest threats of the zombie world, with their keen ability to seek and destroy anything that gets in their way despite their lack of vision.
While a clicker's eyes become completely destroyed by the parasitic fungus during the third stage of the virus, its hearing becomes elevated enough to compensate. Paired with their echolocation ability and brutish nature, clickers have quickly become one of The Last of Us' most iconic monsters.
Reddit user thrxsherrr shared their unbelievable work that went into the making of the clicker bust, as the detailed creation received over 600 upvotes in its first three days on the platform. Fans can rest assured that this bust won't be coming to life anytime soon, but the realistic model is terrifying enough to remind players of their experience while playing the game. The Last of Us Clicker takes around one year to reach the final stage of infection after their exposure to the Cordyceps brain infection, when the eyes become completely immobilized by the facial growth, providing a horrifying image that leaves anyone who encounters them frozen in their tracks.
It didn't take long for onlookers to leave their positive comments and admiration towards the artistry that went into creating the clicker build. One user expressed their distaste for the monster itself, thanks in large part to the in-game experience, but was blown away by how accurate the creation looked. Despite it being one of the most horrifying monsters players can encounter in the series, it hasn't stopped fans from continuously creating representations of it to display in their homes or wear out in public. Regardless of their grotesque image, commenters of the Reddit post stated that they would gladly place the clicker bust in their homes as decoration.
