Last Epoch offers an enjoyable and entertaining experience with just the base game content and mechanics. However, much like many different titles, some fans are eager to find out if there are any mods available for the game.

Mods can often be used to enhance gameplay features, offer cheats or shortcuts, import new items and equipment, or edit visuals and graphics. As with many titles, Last Epoch also has a few mods that can be downloaded to experiment with new features or changes to your playthrough.

How to Install Mods in Last Epoch

To install mods in Last Epoch, you will need to follow some very simple steps. To include these in your game experience;

• Head over to Nexus Mods and visit the Last Epoch page.
• Click on the page of the mod that you would like to install
• Click the manual download tab, which is indicated with a yellow button.

This will download a mod file that you will then need to place into a certain folder within your PC. This folder can vary for each mod, so you'll need to refer to the description tab on the Nexus Mods page from which you downloaded it. In the case of Melonloader mods, you will also need to download the Melonloader program from GitHub.

The Best Last Epoch Mods

Last Epoch, due to having a completely offline mode in the 1.0 release, does indeed have access to mods. However, as the game has no official mod support, there are very few mods available as of February, 2024. Despite this, there's still a decent chance that as time passes since the Last Epoch release date, more mods may be developed.

Currently, mods for Last Epoch can be accessed through the Nexus Mods page, or Melonloader. Each mod on Nexus Mods will have its own download instructions listed in the description area of the page. As for Melonloader mods, there are a couple of files that can be downloaded from Nexus Mods that enables options for modding through Melonloader, with a series of different options to choose from. While mods for the game are rather scarce, there are a key few that are worth taking a look at, and perhaps downloading to try out in your own playthrough.

A Wrinkle in Time Reshade - Nexus Mods

A Wrinkle in Time Reshade is a shader file that will change the appearance of your game, bringing much more saturation and enhanced colors to the world of Eterra. If you're a fan of bold, eye-catching colors in video games, then you'll notice a clear difference when running this file.

Last Epoch Mods - Melonloader

This is the first of two Melonloader files available on Nexus Mods, bringing an assortment of different options for editing your save and cheating your way through the game. Out of the two Melonloader mods available, this one appears to be the more stable. While this mod is capable of many things, a few key features involve:

• Immediately leveling up
• Unlocking all waypoints
• Spawning items
• Invincibility
• Spawning Uniques
• Lootsplosion

PoS Mods - Melonloader

PoS Mods is the second mod file compatible with Melonloader. Out of the two files available, this one appears to be a little more unstable than the previous one. Much like the other Melonloader mod, this file offers many different options that can be toggled to edit your gameplay experience, with the notable features including:

• Wast Epochnya (which appears to be a hilariously cringe-worthy catgirl/catboy mod)
• Completing all campaign quests
• Completing all monolith quests
• Immediately leveling up
• Choosing rewards

Given Last Epoch only made its full launch on February 21, 2024, it would not be surprising to see the game's mod selection expand as more players get involved in the title.
