Most of the talented wizards are part of the Crimson Demon Clan due to their innate talent for magic. These are some of the most powerful wizards in KonoSuba, and this piece will reveal their abilities, personalities, backgrounds, and what makes them so impressive.
7 Funifura
She is a member of the Crimson Demon clan and was also in the same class as Yunyun and Megumin in the village magic academy but was never really as outstanding as them. She seeks adventure and romance, as characterized by most girls her age.
Growing up isolated in the Crimson Demon Village, she dedicated most of her early years to studying magic. Due to her innate affinity for magic, she is still a powerful wizard who can use various intermediate and advanced spells such as inferno.
6 Bukkororii
Bukkororii, like most Crimson Demons, has chuunibyou tendencies, also known as grandiose delusions and the need to stand out. Born to the village’s best and only shoemaker, his father wants him to be next in line for the family business, but he would rather live a more dramatic life. He has been friends and next-door neighbors with Megumin since childhood and also attended the magic academy with her.
After graduating, he formed a patrol group called the Anti-Devil King Army Guerilla Unit. He can cast various advanced spells such as inferno, the light of reflection, the light of saber, and tornado; even though he can not use basic or intermediate spells, he can cast some water and ice advanced spells.
5 Wolbach
Wolbach was a dark Goddess split into two beings, the being of sloth, which appeared as Wolbach, and the being of violence, which appeared as a colossal beast and was sealed inside a complex sealing stone. A young Megumin stumbled upon the sealing stone and released Wolbach and her other half, which went on a destructive run.
Wolbach used Explosion to save Megumin and defeat the beast before absorbing and resealing most of its power. She ended up joining the Demon King’s Generals. Wolbach emits a divine aura and has a colossal mana reserve. She can cast advanced and intermediate spells such as explosion, inferno, paralyze, freeze gust, and teleportation.
4 Komekko
She is the younger sister of Megumin and, of course, a Crimson Demon too. She is very lively and mysterious. She has proven very smart when solving a puzzle a high-level demon could not. She loves food, can eat at lightning speed, and has threatened to cook the weakened, violent half of Wolbach named Chomusuke.
She is a child prodigy and highly skilled at summoning demons, even though it takes decades of training to summon even the weakest demon. She summoned Host, who is a high-level demon, without using much as an offering.
3 Yunyun
She is a childhood friend and rival of Megumin. They were classmates in the village’s magic academy and were always second while Megumin was the top student. Megumin and Funifura always took advantage of her good nature. She learned intermediate magic in an emergency to save Komekko and herself from monsters.
After seeing the power of Megumin’s explosion, she became motivated to take the extra step and learn advanced magic. She can erase her presence if she has a slight obstruction in front of her. She can create water and a blade of wind; she can also teleport and summon lightning strikes among a host of spells.
2 Wiz
Before Wiz became a lich and joined the Demon King’s Army as a general, she was a well-renowned Arch-Wizard known as the Ice Witch. She and her party were major hindrances to the progress of the Demon King’s Army, and they were viewed as heroes by everyone.
She sacrificed her humanity and became a lich to gain enough power to save her friends from a curse. Wiz tore down the barrier at the Devil King’s Castle shortly after, beat up three of his generals, including Beldia, and forced him to remove the curse. She has lich abilities coupled with her already massive arsenal of basic to advanced-level spells.
1 Megumin
Megumin is one of the main protagonists of the show and a member of Kazuma’s party. Despite being a skilled wizard, she dedicated all her life to learning and enhancing her Explosion magic, earning her the nickname “The Crazy Explosion Girl.” According to her, she will die if she doesn’t use explosion magic at least once daily.
Her addiction started after being saved and taught by Wolbach. She devoted all her skill points to making it more effective, shortening her casting time, and being able to cast the spell without changing out loud. She can also make her explosion move in a zig-zag manner.
