The Nintendo Switch has gained yet another fun, exploratory, and experimental title with Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Much like the other Kirby games that have come before it, players will have to keep a sharp eye out in order to fully complete levels. In one of the levels found in the middle of the story, wind may prevent players from collecting everything they need to. If fans don't want to miss what they need to complete this challenging level, this guide lists all the missions and Hidden Waddle Dee locations for Windy, Freezing Seas.
Hidden Waddle Dee #1
Players will quickly come to a point where they need to go forward where a Buffahorn is waiting for them, but there is also a small path downwards towards the camera they could take. Fans should go down this path to find a pipe sitting there for Kirby to swallow.
At the end of the path are two metallic pieces that players should watch out for because they'll need to jump off them. If players manage to time it right, they should break through the wall of ice and find the first Hidden Waddle Dee.
Cave Safe From the Wind Location
After freeing the first Hidden Waddle Dee, fans should find a small walkway to the left. It may be wise for players to take the Needle Copy Ability nearby to have an easier time against the wind, but at the end will be a small door that blends in with the environment.
Players can go inside to find a cave that's safe from the wind and claim Star Coins and food for their trouble.
Toy Capsule #1
The first toy capsule players can find in this Kirby and the Forgotten Land level can be found below a roof with a Buffahorn guarding the way forward. Fans can jump down to find a bomb block nearby to the right. Breaking that block will make a path to the Toy Capsule appear.
First Meal At Sea
In order to complete the mission "Enjoy 3 meals at sea," players need to find three food items in this area as Ring Mouth Kirby. The first one can be found at the very start of the section where players need to steer the boat. Fans should look for the rotisserie chicken floating above the water.
Second Meal At Sea
Before Blast Boosting their way to the next section, players should keep their eyes up to the right to find the next meal at sea, an omelet, in the right-hand corner of the turn in the waterway.
Third Meal at Sea & Hidden Waddle Dee #2
Players should stick to the left, hopping onto the little dock provided to seal with the Balloon-Meister sitting in the middle of the platform up ahead.
Using Ring Mouth Kirby, fans should make the windmill spin. This will open up a small area nearby that holds the last meal at sea and a Hidden Waddle Dee behind a wall that can be broken with a Blast Boost.
Toy Capsule #2
Once players head towards the rest of this area, the next collectible is close by. After encountering another Balloon-Meister, there will be a sparkling spot in the right-hand corner. Touching it will make the Toy Capsule appear with a path leading players right to it.
Hidden Waddle Dee #3
The third Hidden Waddle Dee is closer than players might expect. Players should follow the coin behind the Toy Capsule from earlier to find a platform with ice blocking a door. Using the Fire Copy Ability, they can melt the ice to save this Waddle Dee.
Hidden Waddle Dee #4
As players get pulled away by the wind in the next area, they should continue to keep the Fire Copy Ability on hand and watch out for a lantern on the left. Lighting it will make a trail of coins appear, leading to the fourth Hidden Waddle Dee.
Dragon Fire Blueprint Location
After freeing the fourth Hidden Waddle Dee, the player will find a Scissor Lift nearby to the left that they should inhale. Using it to shift to the right and increase Kirby's height will be enough to reach the treasure chest containing the Dragon Fire Blueprint at the top of a ledge.
Underground Room Location
After using the Scissor Lift, players should take care of the Big Kabu sitting next to a gate. To the left of this gate will be a small hole, and that's the secret room players need to find to clear the jump into the secret underground room mission.
Hidden Waddle Dee #5
Even though the underground room has been found, players still need to enter it to get the last Waddle Dee for the stage. In the secret room, fans will have a challenge regarding using a Scissor Lift to light a fuse and hop into a cannon on the other side. When successful, players will be shot out of the cannon to where the last Hidden Waddle Dee is.
Toy Capsule #3
To wrap up the level, fans who don't mind taking a slight detour can find the last Toy Capsule of the level behind a few rocks on the left by the big golden cage of Waddle Dees.
