Green Shard 1

Kirby and the Forgotten Land- The Wastes Where Life Began 2

To unlock a gate with a hidden Waddle Dee inside it, players will need to find five glowing green shards around the wide-open desert space. The first shard will be in a chest on the main path behind a snake en enemy.

Flying Target 1

Kirby and the Forgotten Land- The Wastes Where Life Began 8

The first flying target can be found to the left of the enemies standing on boxes. If players are in the area with the large yellow floating enemies and the Ring Mouth item, walk to the south to find a cargo container embedded in the sand. Look up to find the target. Players will need the Ranger Copy Ability to shoot it.

Green Shard 2

Kirby and the Forgotten Land- The Wastes Where Life Began 3

Walk over to the east side of the open area to find a switch that can be pressed. Activate it, and then keep following the path to press on a few other switches. The next green shard will appear once the task is done.

Flying Target 2

Kirby and the Forgotten Land- The Wastes Where Life Began 4

In the southeast area overlooking the second green shard, Kirby and the Forgotten Land players can stand on an abandoned cargo container and shoot a target to the upper-right hand corner of the screen.

Defeat Fleurina Using Ring Mouth/ Green Shard 3 / Blueprint / Capsule 1

By heading to the left side of the open area, players can find a Ring they can suck up to become Ring Mouth Kirby. Now, waddle over to the right side of the stage to find an upper platform with a ladder. Since Kirby can't climb ladders with Mouthful Mode, do some light platforming on the side to jump on a tall rock.

Now, players will have to beat the mini-boss with Ring Mouth. Once she's defeated, players can grab the next green shard. There's also a Capsule in the wooden box nearby, and players can walk a few steps left to find a chest containing the Crystal Needle Blueprint.

Green Shard 4

Kirby and the Forgotten Land- The Wastes Where Life Began 9

On the left side of the stage where the Ring Mouth item is, look for a chest that's submerged in a pile of sand. Use the Ring Mouth power to blow the sand away.

Green Shard 5 / Waddle Dee 1

Kirby and the Forgotten Land- The Wastes Where Life Began 10

Just a few steps north of the previous shard, players will find some windmills that need spinning. Use the Ring Mouth to blow all three of them to reveal the final green shard.

Now, the gate containing the Waddle Dee near the Fleurina mini-boss fight will open up.

Defeat the Lost Squishy

Kirby and the Forgotten Land- The Wastes Where Life Began 13

Squishy is a small yellow octopus creature that is by itself in the southwestern corner of the first area, just south of the windmill section. Defeat it to complete this mission.

Flying Target 3 / Capsule 2

To the right of the "windmill" section, look for the sign pointing to the right. There will be a tall structure to the right of the sign, and behind it is the last flying target. Make it fall by walking close to it. Once the target is broken, a capsule will appear on the floor for the taking.

Waddle Dee 2 / Capsule 3

Kirby and the Forgotten Land- The Wastes Where Life Began 16

After players finally get on the warp star to get taken to the next section of the stage, look for the Ring Mouth. Once players get the power, walk south, and look for the cracked spot on the floor. Go to the pillar nearby, and blow it down to make it crash to the floor, revealing a chest with a Waddle Dee.

Jump on the platform to the right of the hidden Waddle Dee, and blow away the pile of dirt to find another toy capsule inside a chest.

Waddle Dee 3 / Capsule 4

Continue forward on the stage to find yet another cracked spot on the ground. Use Ring Mouth's attack to knock down the nearby tower, and doing so will reveal a secret door. In it, players will easily find the capsule and the last Waddle Dee.

Capsule 5

Kirby and the Forgotten Land- The Wastes Where Life Began 20

For the last collectible in The Wastes Where Life Began stage, players need to avoid the final group of Waddle Dees in the final area. Instead of clearing the stage, look for a small gap in the fence behind them and players can walk through it to enter the building in the background. Complete the simple mini-game inside to find a Capsule and lots of coins.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is available for the Switch.
