Kirby and the Forgotten Land may not be fully open-world, but it offers plenty of exploration to where many fans may not feel too much of a difference. Each level is full of all sorts of collectibles for fans to find, and even one of the earlier levels, A Trip to Alivel Mall, may trick players as they try to find all the goodies available. This guide is where fans can find all the Hidden Waddle Dees and mission requirements in A Trip to Alivel Mall.
Doughnut #1
The first doughnut in this Kirby and the Forgotten Land stage can be found at the top of an escalator on a small lunch table. Fans will know when they reach the location as there will be three boxes trying to hide the doughnut behind it. There will also be a small metal walkway underneath with a Kabu spinning along its path.
Toy Capsule #1
Immediately after fans eat their first doughnut of the stage, they should dive onto the path with the spinning Kabu and quickly defeat it, then use either the Kabu itself or their copy ability to break the blocks in the nearby wall. Going into the hole that opens up, as a result, will reveal the first toy capsule of Alivel Mall.
Invincible Candy Location
As fans continue through the stage, they should come across a section pointing them north that seems to be a quick walk between shops, but it's littered with enemies. Players should keep going right to reach the end of the walkway, but they'll be able to find the Invincible Candy needed for the "Eat an Invincible Candy" mission sitting atop a blue couch in the corner.
Hidden Waddle Dee #1
With the Invincible Candy active, gamers should take Kirby into the perilous next section full of Poppy Bros. Jrs trying to destroy him with their bombs. However, to the right is a bomb block.
Fans should destroy it to reveal a secret passage with a ladder up onto the top of the shops. Heading along the "U" shape of the area should take fans to the mouth of the walkway, and on the right side of the entrance is the first Hidden Waddle Dee.
Hidden Waddle Dee #2
Heading onward, fans should reach a section that has them choose between three paths. For the sake of completing the stage properly, they should go down the path marked with the hamburger sign to find a place where a few Awoofys are having lunch. In the center of the room is a treasure chest with the next Hidden Waddle Dee inside.
Toy Capsule #2
After fans defeat the Wild Frosty, conveyor belts will be introduced into the level. Fans will eventually find a section that threatens to throw them off the edge as it throws four boxes and a sleeping Awoofy at them. Players should be mindful that the third box found on the right of the conveyer belt will contain a toy capsule, and should quickly grab it before the item falls.
Doughnut #2
Shortly after the section with the long conveyer belt, fans should find a Chilly enemy nearby. They should consider using it to get the Ice Copy Ability, as it will come in handy in the next area.
With or without the Copy Ability, however, fans should find a sparkling light to the right-most corner of the four conveyor belts. Gathering it will reveal sets of coins, with a doughnut being out on the end of the top-most coin chain.
Hidden Waddle Dee #3
Players will need to have inhaled the Chilly at the start of this section to obtain this Waddle Dee. To the far left of the area sits fiery logs. Using the Ice Copy Ability to get rid of the logs should reveal a ladder leading to a switch.
Once fans press the switch, a trapped Waddle Dee will be carried away by a bird, which fans will need to chase to set Kirby and Elfilin's friend free.
Toy Capsule #3
As players make their way through the mall, they should come to the proper food court of the location, but they should head right to use Mouthful Mode on a few lockers and filing cabinets.
A green filing cabinet can be found on the far right, which will expose a hidden room once knocked over. One Awoofy will be found to the right, and following it will lead fans to the third Toy Capsule.
Hidden Waddle Dee #4
With the help of the maps that the lockers and filing cabinets revealed to players, fans should know that the proper path to follow out of the food court is the second cake path to the left. Once fans pick that path, they should find more Awoofys enjoying some cake, with three treasure chests waiting for players. The middle chest will contain the final Hidden Waddle Dee.
Doughnut #3
The next doughnut fans need to devour can be found to the left. One Awoofy will be sleeping in a chair on a table with a sparkling light atop of it. Gathering it will make the treat appear on a table next to the wall nearby.
Doughnut #4
Just before fans get to leave the mall, they should take note of the ladder to the right. Climbing up the ladder will lead to another section full of tables with one lonely enemy guarding a table with the last doughnut, making it a quick grab to complete the doughnut mission.
Navigate the Mall Without Getting Lost
While this mission may lead to some frustration for gamers, considering once a choice is made the stage will remember, all fans need to do is follow the cardboard signs discovered with Mouthful Mode.
The correct paths are the hamburger path in the middle and the second cake path to the far left. If fans have already found all the collectibles in the Alivel Mall level, then they've most likely already completed the mission as a result.
