Fans recently uncovered the logo for a Kingdom Hearts project titled Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory, and they've gone ahead and shared it online. What exactly Melody of Memory is is a mystery at this point, but its likely one of the two upcoming Kingdom Hearts games outside of Dark Road.

Reddit user Skullboj was the one that discovered the logo. They ended up uncovering it through a successful datamine of Kingdom Hearts Dark Road's official website. The site itself went up earlier than expected yesterday, and KH fans from all over datamined it as a result.

The logo itself isn't in the highest quality due to its size, but it's easy enough to make out. It looks similar to Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep's logo except it's gold instead of silver and blue. One fan pointed out that the "K" and "S" in Kingdom Hearts logos' only have long strokes if the game doesn't feature Sora as a protagonist, and this Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory logo meets that requirement.

As such, some people think that the game will center around Namine due to the word "Memory," being apart of the subtitle. Others think that the logo relates to the Master of Masters or the Mark of Mastery because of their initials. However, most believe that the game will center around Kairi. In other words, no one can make heads or tails of the logo's subtitle, which is typical for Kingdom Hearts.

However, if Melody of Memory is a game, Kairi being its protagonist makes the most sense. Namine isn't the fighting type, and both the Master of Masters and Mark of Mastery is too vague. In Kingdom Hearts 3 Re: Mind, Kairi ends up exploring her heart in search of clues about Sora, so "Melody of Memory" makes just as much sense for her as it does Namine. Namine would make the perfect support character, though, as her powers could help Kairi with her goal better than anyone.

It's important to stress that all of this is speculation. No one knows what this logo is really for. It might not even be for a future Kingdom Hearts game, though it likely is. The name could just be what Square Enix originally called Dark Road. The logo did come from the game's official site, after all. Maybe more information will come to light when Dark Road launches.

Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory is rumored to be in development.
