About 10 days ago, a Microsoft store listing for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue went up, and it claimed that the game would be available for Xbox owners come February 18. However, not long after the post went live, Microsoft took it down for unknown reasons.

This made the leaks' credibility questionable, as some thought Microsoft posted it as a mistake, which it's done before in regards to Kingdom Hearts 3 coming to the PC. Others figured the store just announced the availability of the Kingdom Hearts collection too early.

Fast forward to today, and it turns out the latter was correct. The Microsoft Store listing for Kingdom Hearts 2.8 has not only gone back up, but the Kingdom Hearts Twitter account backed it as the official release of the game to the Xbox One. On top of that, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix is available now right alongside Kingdom Hearts 2.8, which collectively makes every Kingdom Hearts title currently available for the PlayStation now available for the Xbox as well.

In total, that equates to six games and three movies. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 contains Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (movie), Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded (movie). Kingdom Hearts 2.8 contains Kingdom Hearts 3D, Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover (movie). For the most part, these titles are listed in chronological order for anyone looking to play through the series that way. However, Back Cover should be watched before starting the first Birth by Sleep in that case.

It should be noted that the Kingdom Hearts collections are only digitally available for the Xbox One. Anyone looking to get the games physically will have to wait a little longer. How much longer remains a mystery, though, as Square Enix hasn't released any details on when the physical copies might come out.

Finally, the tweet also announced that Kingdom Hearts 3 would be available on the Xbox Gamepass starting February 25. So anyone with a subscription can virtually play the game for free. The Kingdom Hearts 3 Re: Mind DLC also releases for Xbox owners on February 25, so the promotion lines up perfectly. Re: Mind explores some of the unanswered questions left by the base game and sets up some of the future plotlines of the series.

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 +2.5 and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 are available now for the PS4 and Xbox One.
