With Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind officially released for PS4, players have quickly begun digging through and finding every secret and boss in the DLC. One change that came with the release of Re:Mind, however, can be accessed in the very beginning of the game, long before accessing the bonus content that the DLC delivers.

The new addition can ease player's travels through the base Kingdom Hearts 3 as well as in the challenging Limitcut Episode and Secret Boss at the end of the DLC. These recent add-ons are also capable of introducing even more challenges to the game than ever before, pushing players to the ends of their skills and sanity.

The new addition included in Re:Mind are a set of Premium menus that are available to anyone who bought the DLC at the start of the game when the player is selecting their play-style and how Sora will level-up and upgrade throughout the game. Two options become available, an EZ menu that makes the game easier with options like 1-hit kills on all enemies and auto-blocking, and a Pro menu that adds additional challenges such as stopping the party from curing and limiting formchanges and grand magic. Unfortunately, these menus are only available to players either just starting the game or defeating a certain boss, meaning anyone taking on the new Re:Mind story with an old save file from before the DLC won't have access unless they choose to start over from scratch or have already bested the Secret Boss.

Some players have reportedly been using the EZ Codes on the EZ Premium menu, dubbed Fast Pass online, to speed through the game and unlock the secret ending earned by defeating the Secret Boss at the end of the Secret Episode in as little as 5 hours. However, it should be noted that this is clearly not the way that the game was intended to be played on a first run through, and certain trophies and acheivements are not available when using EZ Codes. Likewise, some trophies are only accessible by beating the game and specific challenges, known as Merits, with EZ and Pro Codes unlocked.

With these Premium menus spreading around to fans as they begin to come across guides showing them how to access the codes, or discover them naturally through revisiting the game, new challenge runs against the toughest bosses Re:Mind has to offer are sure to start popping up all over the internet. Although, the idea of running some sort of "Critical All Pro Codes On" playthrough sounds like a daunting task best left for the more patient players, willing to beat their heads against that brick wall.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Re:Mind is available now for PS4, and is releasing on February 25th for Xbox One.
