Kingdom Come's Switch port was first announced all the way back in June 2021 following months of rumors. Some Switch fans are understandably excited to finally get their hands on the game, which sits at a Very Positive rating of 82% on Steam and gives users around 41 hours of entertainment before its main quests are finished. Completionist gamers report that Kingdom Come takes around 129 hours to fully complete, thanks to its expansive and rich world based in a region of 15th-century Bohemia, in what is now the Czech Republic.

When Does Kingdom Come: Deliverance Release on Switch?

  • March 15

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is considered as one of the most historically accurate games released in recent years, not just for its setting and plot, but also for its gameplay. In order to keep their character healthy, users must regularly eat, drink, and sleep. Additionally, items like armor, clothing, and food will deteriorate over time, encouraging the user to always be conscious of their inventory and future needs. Kingdom Come's release date for the Switch was first revealed at Nintendo's recent Direct Partner Showcase, where the gaming giant made numerous other exciting announcements.

Nintendo confirmed that two Xbox exclusives, Pentiment and Grounded, will be released for the Switch this year. Pentiment, which is another historical RPG, is already available. The game takes users on a 2D narrative adventure through 16th-century Bavaria, where they must investigate a series of murders. Grounded will be released for the Switch on April 16.

During the Partner Showcase, Nintendo also announced the return of Endless Ocean, a scuba-diving exploration series originally released on the Wii. Endless Ocean: Luminous will allow users to go on underwater adventures alone or with up to 29 other players, where they will discover marine life and underwater treasure. The new Endless Ocean will also feature a dynamic world that will change with every dive.
