Kingdom Come: Deliverance provides one of the best open world gaming experiences. Almost every NPC has a story to tell, and many have believable personalities. In recent years, RPGs have included love interests to make the gameplay feel even more realistic. However, adding relationships to large immersive games can detract from the gameplay at times.

Kingdom Come strikes a good balance by including these features for players that are interested while making romance a small aspect of the gameplay. Gamers that want to get Henry into the dating pool or see him attacked by devil worshipers should continue reading this guide.

Playing With The Devil

Playing with the Devil Kingdom Come (1)

Gamers that complete the "Playing With the Devil" side quest will experience one of the most peculiar and confusing moments in Henry's life. Henry is tasked with catching up to three young women who purchased a certain "herb" from the town's herbalist. If players speak with them and follow them into the woods, things get weird. The three women greet Henry as if he were their prince of darkness. Then, they then offer to "fulfill his every wish" if he fulfills theirs. It does not take too much unpacking to understand what they are implying.

The Herbs Kick In

Poor Henry gets himself into a situation in this quest. Initially, he is skeptical of the women and critical of how insane they sound. However, the women are able to subdue him with the herb and Henry essentially goes unconscious. While high on whatever the witches spiked him with, Henry will have a conversation with a horse, a pig, and a chicken. Each of the witches are apparently transformed into animals from Henry's dazed perspective. To get out of the dazed encounter, Henry will need to lockpick one of the animals after choosing one of them. Yes, this actually happens. Clearly, lockpicking is some form of medieval innuendo. The quest provides one of the most uncomfortable moments in the game.

Henry Kills The Bandits

After "lockpicking," Henry and the women will be approached by what appear to be bandits. They will attack Henry and players will need to kill them. Henry will then pass out for five hours to sleep off whatever caused him to hallucinate. However, when Henry awakes, these appear to be men of the clergy. One of the dead men has a clerical tonsure, so he was clearly not a bandit. Thankfully, this nightmare of a quest comes to an end.

Henry And Theresa

Henry and Theresa Kingdom Come

Theresa is one of the obvious love interests for Henry. Henry can save her in the prologue and she expresses her feelings toward him before Henry heads off to the attack on Skalitz. Regardless of what gamers do in the prologue, they can pursue a relationship with Theresa as soon as they spawn into the game. She will be located at the Mill in Rattay. Henry can be a bit awkward in conversation when speaking with her, but he tries his best. Players should ask how she's been and take a stroll with her along the river. After taking a walk and making awkward conversation by the river, players will be able to speak with her.

Henry can return in a couple of days to speak with her again. She will want to head to the tavern this time. It turns out Henry is quite the womanizer. While at the tavern, Theresa will force Henry to dance. Afterward, a creepy man will appear and hit on her. This will force Henry to step in and fight him to be Theresa's hero. Players will then be transported to Theresa's home where they will kiss.

After a couple of days, gamers can visit her again. This time she will want to play "blind man's buff". She will lead Henry in the barn, and the rest is history. Players will have to help Theresa bring in clothes left outside when it begins to rain. Once they return to the barn, let's just say that what they do is not PG-13. That is the end of the romance between the two. It appears Theresa saw Henry as just a one-night fling.

Henry And Lady Stephanie

Henry and Stephanie Kingdom Come

It turns out that Henry is a potential homewrecker too. Stephanie is the wife of Talmberg's ruler. To swoon her, players will need to talk to her on the upper floor of the Talmberg Castle. Speaking with her will activate the "At Your Service My Lady" quest. Gamers will need to retrieve a few items for her. After completing the quest, she will give Henry a shirt. If players put it on, Theresa will give Henry another reward. Once the cut scene is over, their short romance will conclude.

The Bath House

Henry Bathouse Kingdom Come

The bathhouses in Kingdome Come are essentially brothels. Henry can pay for and bathe with any of the bath maids. Players can use any of the bathhouses in the game. After paying for their services, the screen will go black and there will be some R-rated audio in the background. Players should keep in mind that using the bathhouse or pursuing a romance will prevent them from unlocking the coveted virgin trophy, which is an actual achievement in the game.

Drunken Night With The Father

Henry and Alehouse maid Kingdom Come

If players decide to drink the night away after speaking with Father Godwin during the "Mysterious Ways" main quest, Henry will have a one-night stand with an alehouse maid. Henry will get wasted and fight with a bailiff before stumbling around the village. After a night of debauchery, Henry will somehow end up in bed with the alehouse maid. The next day, Henry will see her at church, but he will not remember what happened. The alehouse maid will try to get his attention by waving at him, which is extremely awkward.
