The King of Fighters Allstar has received an update that added characters from Samurai Shodown. Netmarble's game is also featuring new content to celebrate the newest crossover, just like when The King of Fighters Allstar welcomed WWE stars.

Released in 2018 by Netmarble, The King of Fighters Allstar brings a different type of gameplay than the 1v1 fights of the main game series. The game is a beat'em up style RPG where the player wakes up in the world of The King of Fighters with no memory. With the help of a girl named Noah, the player must participate in The King of Fighters tournaments (starting with KOF 94) and win them to recover their memory. To do this, the player must recruit characters from the franchise and others from crossover events. This time the collaboration offers content that unites two SNK franchises.

The new characters in The King of Fighters Allstar are XV Nakoruru and XV Haomaru, one of the strongest characters from Samurai Shodown. XV Nakoruru is a Balance Type character who has a Leader Skill that increases the attack of blue element fighters to a certain level. When an Active Skill is used, the cooldown of the Finisher Skill is reduced and grants Symbol to enemies with physical damage. XV Haomaru is also a Balance Type character, and his Leader Skill increases the Active Skill damage of extreme fighters and the Finisher Skill to a certain level. XV Haomaru is immune to Stun and Freeze, allowing him to preserve any damage received and recover when he hits an Active Skill.

The King of Fighters Allstar update also added new battle cards. Once equipped on a unique fighter, XV Nakoruru can reset the cooldown time for Finisher Skills. Meanwhile, XV Haomaru can increase damage upon use. The King of Fighters Allstar is featuring exclusive login rewards from the event, the latest in a list of fighting game collaborations in the game, such as The King of Fighters Allstar x Street Fighter crossover. A new Rush Dungeon and Challenge Dungeon are available to players with various rewards, and the Mini Game brings rewards, including Rubies and Enhancement Hammer.

The King of Fighters Allstar brings together all the characters from the four sagas of the main entries in the KOF series, including the popular Shermie who returned in King of Fighters 15. The title is published by Netmarble, a company known in the mobile RPG world for titles such as Marvel Future Fight and The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. Combining gacha, RPG, fighting, and beat'em up mechanics, The King of Fighters Allstar is a game option for fans, even casual gamers, who want to experience the combat of the King of Fighters franchise differently.

The King of Fighters Allstar is available now for mobile devices and PC.
