When asked about the reported X-Men film, Feige said, "July 26 is really when it all starts, when Deadpool & Wolverine comes out." For many, this response can be seen as straightforward to a question that Feige didn't want to answer. However, for those who know about Deadpool & Wolverine and how it's going to change the MCU, this response might mean something more than just a simple statement. It has been widely reported that the film is going to feature characters that have been a part of Marvel since the very beginning.

Marvel introduced mutants in The Marvels. In the post-credits scene of The Marvels, Monica wakes up at Charles Xavier's school and encounters Beast, played by Kelsey Grammer. The first Deadpool film earned $132.4 million domestically in its opening weekend and it is still a record for a R-rated film. If current projections turn out to be right, Deadpool & Wolverine might just take the numero uno position on that list.
