If and when Daredevil makes his appearance in the MCU, Marvel has confirmed that fans will recognize the actor who will play him. In a recent interview, Marvel chief Kevin Feige made it clear that Charlie Cox will play Daredevil, though he added that he's not clear when exactly the character will be making an appearance.

While Daredevil has not made an appearance in any Marvel movie or television show outside of the Netflix original series that introduced starred Cox, fans of the MCU think it's only a matter of time before he makes an appearance. While the Netflix Daredevil show was canceled after just three seasons, its fanbase has been strident in making it clear that they don't want anyone else playing the blind superhero but Cox. Feige has now confirmed they will almost certainly get their wish.

The Marvel chief recently spoke to CinemaBlend about the MCU's plans for Daredevil. The comments were the first anyone with Marvel has made about the character that could be considered remotely solid. Feige made it clear that if audiences get to see Daredevil in future projects, he will be played by Cox. However he added that where the character is seen, and when that might happen is still up in the air.

Charlie Cox Daredevil Spider-Man

The push to get Cox confirmed as Daredevil has gotten stronger over the last year mainly because there are those that believe the hero will make an appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The logic behind his inclusion is fairly solid considering that the character operates out of Hell's Kitchen in New York - hence the devil in his moniker - and his alter ego, Matt Murdock is an attorney. With Peter Parker being accused of committing some heinous crimes, Spidey might need a good lawyer.

For his part, Cox has played coy about whether or not he's part of No Way Home. In fact, the actor has made it clear that he's not even sure if he would want to play Daredevil if given the chance. However, it appears that Feige's comments hint that some sort of an agreement has been made between Cox and Marvel.

If "The Man Without Fear" isn't part of Spider-Man: No Way Home, audiences still might not have to wait that long to see the MCU version of Daredevil. There are rampant rumors that he will be a part of the Disney Plus series that centers around Echo, the character recently introduced in the Hawkeye series.
