Many fans are excited by the news that this indie game will be following the same directions that are other games such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Marvel's Avengers. The indie studio went on to say that the PS5 version of the game will have higher quality graphics than the PS4 version, and that the game will be using the abilities of the next gen console to its advantage, though the studio is not letting any details slip as to how that with be.
While Kena: Bridge of Spirits is aiming to be released some time during the 2020 holiday season, just as the PS5 and Xbox Series X are. However, there is no official release date, and Ember Lab is not ready to pin its public debut to a specific date quite yet. The developer is not sure is the game will be ready at the PS5's launch date, but it is hoping that the game will be out around the same time. At the moment, the game is planned to be digital only, which some fans are hoping will change, it has yet to be seen if it occur.
