Kazuya Kinoshita has had his hands rather full for the past couple of seasons, but apparently, he's not quite done with his captivating collection, as there is another potential suitor ready to join the Rent-A-Girlfriend ranks! And while things have always been complicated between Kazuya and Mizuhara, her grandmother's grave illness has set a more serious tone to their relationship, which was on the brink of ending (for real, this time), moments before tragedy struck.

Season 2's emotional ending heightened the stakes for Kazuya, who finally received some long-awaited recognition from his paramore. Too bad another lovely lady is popping in to stir up the pot, but who exactly is this mysterious Mini?

The New Kid on The Block

Kazuya's Harem Gets More Crowded for Season 3 of Rent-a-Girlfriend Mini Yaemori

Fortunately, My Dress-Up Darling has already proven that otaku and anime go hand-in-hand (an obvious assumption, yet often somehow underrated in this industry), paving the way for Mini Yaemori to pick up where Marin left off, as the new official rom-com cosplayer. This new addition to the Rent-A-Girlfriend cast is a fellow student at Nerima University, who appears to be living in the same apartment block as Kazuya and Mizuhara. She is also an avid content creator and aspiring influencer, displaying her cosplay creations for all to see on several social media networks using the pseudonym Koronemaru.

At face value, Miss Mini gives the impression of one who speaks her mind, without concerning herself with how blunt her comments may be. None of Kazuya's other consorts seem to know what to make of this strange newcomer, which means the drama levels are likely to skyrocket (even further!) while they sus her out. Mini will be voiced by i☆Ris' multitalented JPop star, Yū Serizawa, and is expected to make her debut in the 2023 Summer line-up.

New and Returning Cast Members

Kazuya's Harem Gets More Crowded for Season 3 of Rent-a-Girlfriend Mini Yaemori, Mizuhara and the girls

Accommodating a new character isn't the only change made to the Rent-A-Girlfriend setup, as some behind-the-scenes alterations have also gone underway. Season 2's director, Kazuomi Koga will be stepping aside to give Shin'ya Une more time to shine, while TMS Entertainment and Studio Comet continue backing the production. Otherwise, it's all hand on deck for the rest of the returning staff (including the memorable Voice Actors) to bring the complexities of Kazuya's chaotic love story to life once again.
